So six month or so ago I sold my La Scalas of 12 years to buy some new speakers. I wanted something that looked and sounded better. I bought a sub woofer from SVS and it is great. So decided after reading all the wonderful reviews on there Ultra towers it was time to sell the La Scalas and buy the SVS Ultra Towers. Well the Ultras look better. Only because the La Scalas where a little beat up and some *** lacquered with polyurethane and did a horrible job before I got them. Damn and I am not sure if they sound better. My only complaint with the La Scalas was I felt like I had to listen to them to loud for them to open up and sound great. I replaced the crossovers with ALK Universals many years ago and there was a noticeable improvement. But now I wonder if the new ALK Universal economy crossovers would fix this problem with the ability to turn down the squeaker and the tweeter. Well how about the looks?  A beautiful pair of Walnut Belles will fix this problem. I will be going to get these in a few weeks. Besides I missed you guys and felt like a traitor for playing on here and not having any Klipsch in the house.

Holler when you get them home. I'd love it see them. They look beautiful.

Will do Carl. Going to get them will be a vacation indeed.

Where are they?
