Ten88
My Father purchased a set of two Chorus II's and two Forte II's for a home theater that never happened years ago. They have since been in his house collecting dust. They are new in their boxes and have never been opened. Each set has sequential serial numbers and are the Oak #19 Grill. They are currently located in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am asking 1700 for all four. Thanks! David
oldtimer
That would have been a great HT with a matching center.
willland
David, Welcome to the forum. I don't know if this is a "must sell" but you have yourself some jewels in your hands. In boxes never opened, wow. I can only imagine how pristine they must look. Good luck with your sale. Bill

Ten88
Thank you for all the replies. Very welcoming. This is by no means a "must sell", I just cant stand to see them sitting there collecting dust. I wanted them to go to someone who would appreciate them for what they are. Cheers! wvu80
My Father purchased a set of two Chorus II's and two Forte II's for a home theater that never happened years ago. They were both d/c'd in 1996 meaning the newest they could be is 19 years old! Brand new old stock Forte II (edit: 1994) and C-2's (edit 1993). We will not see that happen again for a looong time, if ever. Edited September 7, 2015 by wvu80
oldtimer
Makes me wonder what the op is listening to if he is getting rid of these.
wvu80
I went ahead and did the math, it looks like the F2's are 1994, twenty-one years old. The CH2's are late 1993. DOY= day of the yearY2Y1=2nd digit of year, 1st digit of year Edited September 7, 2015 by wvu80

Ten88
What great information! It has been so enjoyable to hear some background on these. I sent Jim a message. What he doesn't know yet is that I think I will require him to update us with pictures of them in use. Particularly since I have never seen them. Thoughts? David As has been said here many, many times.....photos or it didn't happen...... What would be even better is an unboxing VIDEO. Would be awesome to share that experience with the forum. Plus you have witnesses if they are boxes of rocks. Edited September 7, 2015 by Tasdom
jimjimbo
David and I have corresponded regarding shipping rates. I knew it wouldn't be cheap, but am investigating several options. Sent David a PM regarding this today.
