thebes
If you have a Vizio Smart TV it is tracking whatever you watch, and then the company is selling the info (in aggregate they say) to other companies. Here's a link on how to turn it off: http://www.vizio.com/smartinteractivity Don't worry it will not affect anything on your TV, streaming whatever. It's just spyware. The funny thing is, after I disabled it, I could swear the quality of my picture got better. If you experience the same, I'd be interested in knowing.
JJkizak
I don't have to worry because my 2006 Sony TV is not very smart. JJK
teaman
I saw that this afternoon on Fox News. Kind of creepy that your smart tv will be tracking your movements...

twk123
Its kind of like the XBox ONE kinect camera. Its always on and apparently extremely easy to hack through your XBOX live account.

Quiet_Hollow
BD Live performs functions along those same lines too. Cable boxes have been doing it for years.

Bella
I always watch Naked... I'm sure Vizio has business connections to Pfizer and they are interested in who they can market their products to. T2K
Instructions for turning it off are in the setup procedures. But who reads the manual huh? Keith
Bella
Exactly what Vizio is hoping for. Why not ship the product with that feature shut off and give instructions in the manual on how to activate it?
