Marvel
A friend of mine sent me the link for this Thai TV commercial... It's 5:30 long... One of my professor friends who works a lot in Asia used it in one of his classes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lx1W8xYmLfM It's best not to rest the text underneath. Marvel
Many Thai commercials aren't just selling a product, but fit in with their culture of family and taking care of others (which this points out didn't happen). All the while it sells the product. Edited March 24, 2016 by Marvel
oldtimer
I know for a fact it is the homeless who pee on the sidewalks in my neighborhood.

All the while it sells the product. A very touching video Bruce. We need some better commercial here to promote awareness to the plight of homeless people. A lot of times what we see on the surface does not tell us much of the real story.
Marvel
We need some better commercial here to promote awareness to the plight of homeless people. A lot of times what we see on the surface does not tell us much of the real story. I can't imagine, for the U.S., the cost of a five minute commercial. My wife studied in Japan, and had a roommate from Thailand. She has visitied her in her home, and hearing her talk and seeing her pictures, you see the tremendous amount of respect for parents, and how they take care of them. Obviously, there are those who do not, but I sense that we have lost a lot of that here in the U.S. Bruce
Groomlakearea51
I know for a fact it is the homeless who pee on the sidewalks in my neighborhood. It's not really the homeless... It's the homeless Zombies preparing for the takeover and they are marking their territory. Look for the glowing eyes... It's just a matter of time!!!

Taz
One day I was working on the Psych ward and complaining about what I had to do when I got home. One of the patients brought me back to reality when he said, "None of us (patients) have homes to go home to."
Islander
That was pretty heavy, and to the point. Here's a Thai ad that's much more light-hearted. Subtitles are not needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ-Y74t-k4A Edited March 28, 2016 by Islander
Islander
You probably won't guess what this ad is selling until you see the name at the end. Thai family picnics seem much more interesting than the ones we have over here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntTq1rop8IE&feature=fvwp
Islander
See how this one makes you feel. It's called Dream Rangers. Full screen is best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vksdBSVAM6g
