onemoretime
This has to be the saddest pair of La Scala's I've seen yet: https://offerupnow.com/item/detail/32102869

wvu80
The "ugly" of the speaker's condition speaks for itself. The refrigerator-white paint screams "and don't you forget it!"
DizRotus
I Agee. The ugly black La Scalas I bought from Michael Colter looked less ugly than these. Edited June 11, 2016 by DizRotus

Matthews
I have seen & bought some BAD ones but these - oh my - makes me kringe at the amount of work required to bring em' back to life. I'll take em - buck-fiddy...
DizRotus
That's "normal wear" if used as patio speakers on a submarine. If those tweeters weren't dismantled when the horns were painted white, there's a great possibility the screens are filled with paint. K5SS
Hmmm. I usually hate to lowball people too hard but I might offer him $200 for them. My brother is quite handy and he likes projects...
NBPK402
Yikes, I thought mine were bad when I picked up a pair for $500, and they looked like new compared to those!
twk123
Lol I like how the pictures are taken of them outside in a part of the country where it drizzles constantly for most of the year. $200 would actually be a pretty fair price and if anything you can make that up selling the parts out if needed. I like projects too, and I love for people to bring back and restore Klipsch speakers, but those would be a lot of work. A fair price might be one to one-fifty, and that's not a low-ball price, that is the value IMO. Then be prepared for a looong restoration.

K5SS
I just offered him $200 for them. I will let you guys know how it goes. I told my brother that I would pay him to restore them and he was on board. He offered to do it for free but I think these are larger than he is expecting..
JiminSTL
Matt, Naturally, I IMMEDIATELY thought of you, but I see you are already on top of it. Oh well, there goes another "deal". Say, did send you an email a couple of minutes ago on another situation.
