wvu80
I don't know what the deal is with the sound on the broadcast, but it's incredible! I could HEAR the sound of the dirt shushing as the runner slides back to second, and I can HEAR the sound of the second baseman as he PUNCHES his glove, which usually tells the pitcher he wants a pickoff at second base. +++ Chapman is close to 30 pitches. He is all over the place and really close to throwing a wild pitch that would tie the game.

wvu80
It looks like Chapman is going to hit for himself. Third time in his career. I bet he doesn't even take the bat off his shoulder.
mungkiman
I'll take that bet.

DizRotus
Francona is now 12 - 3. David Ross, "I've never been so happy to go to Cleveland in my life."
mungkiman
My father attended the 1948 World Series. Being from Boston, he influenced my early sports enthusiasm towards the Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. Boston Braves lost that 1948 Series to Cleveland after Cleveland beat the Red Sox in a one game playoff to prevent an all Boston Series. As such, you can probably understand my current loyalties...

JL Sargent
Oh the drama. What's gonna happen tonight? Cleveland wins it all or Chicago extends it to a game 7! I want game 7.
