don't get excited fellas...there is a culvert under the road where the water goes anyway. I'm just trying to stop the erosion on the slope. The beginning of the pipe is at the end of a concrete V-ditch that diverts the water around my house. Lots of large rocks there to slow the water down. Then at the end of the new pipe more large rocks to slow it down again before it goes into the culvert under the road.

Pitching in for your next Phase. Looks about the right size from the limited info I saw in your pics.

Got myself an old Nikon F5 camera.

I wanted one for years, and finally a local photo shop had one that was sitting on the shelf for 15 years.

Has some mileage (86000 actuations).

Had it checked and cleaned by official Nikon service center. All is ok.

Hope to shoot a lot with it.

If this is directed to me, then yes.

I am a many years Nikon user, so I have a few lenses piled up.

This lens on the camera is just an old no-name lens that I used to close the lens mount for collecting dust.

I had 4 F-5's when I was shooting.  They're a great camera .

I agree.

This one was serviced by authorised Nikon service from day 1.

I lusted for one as soon as I layed my hands on one years ago. It is a pleasure only to hold it.

As far as functionality, my D750 meters and focuses better in the dark.

But F5 is not far behind.

Since I love analog photography, this one will be a pleasure to use.

Being carefull with my choice of lenses, it might see a few trips with me.

I am used to howling a medium format, so this will not be a challenge as poeple are used to argue about it's weight.

Seriously just tired of the rainwater runoff carving its own way down the hill.

Yeah; was very impressed with the original ditch ... thought you dug it by yourself; but now seeing "labor filling the ditch :)

Thanks for that. But around these parts we just use concrete, mortar and natural stone.

Stone has been here forever and will be when we're all long gone.

@Emile  Oh yea, the guy who's rebuilding his dock while sitting in a lawn chair smokin one of those big cigar's from Ybor City   I remember him now.  The guy with the good looking house keeper.  Haven't seen her yet but me thinks he's not sharing her w/me anymore, which is just sad.  😂

Work on the fence has commenced. We are a little further along than these pics show, they are from a couple days ago.
