Ceptorman
You seem to have gotten a great deal on the speakers. Just curious, where are they located?
Heaterman
Craters & Freighters are one shipping company that will go on site, box them up, load and haul them but it’s not cheap. I’m sure there’s others. I tried to figure out how to get these to California “easily” and Under $500 but couldn’t so I didn’t bid on them.... it would’ve been around $1000 - $1200 to fly out, rent a truck with gas and lodging... good luck! codewritinfool
Fastenal also ships slow-boat as parts progress around the country. Might be worth looking into.

I would add up the cost to have them shipped by freight, which will have crating fees too, vs calling it a vacation, where you can ignore the fuel and hotel costs as a vacation that you want to take, and the speakers can follow you home as a bonus. On the vacation side, flying out can cost less than a hotel or two and the fuel savings can go towards a pickup rental. <edit> > I rolled the dice and bought a motorcycle that was in SLC on ebay, almost a year ago today. I grabbed my riding gear, flew there, strapped on my suitcase and rode it home, rather than having it shipped. Even though it was pretty cold, especially in the high mountains; had a lot of strong cross winds and rain in central Kansas; got drenched in St Louis, I really enjoyed the mountains, have fond memories and would do it again.
Skelt
I like the vacation idea. You could plan to stop at campgrounds and offer dj service for lodging.
Dave A
I have had people fly into Nashville and drive home with the loot. I don't remember who the shipper was but I got 6 415-4 bass bins on three pallets shipped in pretty cheap from Rescue Audio from St Louis. Secret was to get them dropped off at a local freight dock and then take delivery there. If you are not going up or down flights of stairs a two wheeler and some sweat is all you need to get them inside by yourself. Single bins are not all that heavy. Someone had to palletize them though. 23 hours ago, codewritinfool said: Fastenal also ships slow-boat as parts progress around the country. Might be worth looking into. They have a size limit last time I checked. UShip would be good if there is time to wait and help to load.

Great bikes, lots of power. I'm a huge fan of the original FJ1100. I remember back in 1984, I was considering the FJ1100 and a Honda 1000 Interceptor, you can probably guess which one I chose. Yes looking forward to the bike races at Indy, might even go there today for qualifications. Perfect weather!

Perfect weather! Thanks for the invite, sure wish that I didn't have too much to do here. I would be there for all of it, including qualifying. It's not every day that the big races are that close. Glad the weather is perfect there. It's supposed to rain here on Sunday.

I like my FJ, but it never came with hard cases and has a more aggressive riding position and less wind protection. Apparently Yamaha listened to the customers and made several changes that were needed when it came out with the FJR. Heated hand grips, ABS and cruise control are nice too. I miss racing. You still doing anything on the tracks?

It was glorious seeing 190 mph motorcycles, missed it.
