whell
Cut Throat and I are on the same page. More jazz than classic rock these days. Was just listening to Oscar Peterson tonight as he "Plays the Cole Porter Song Book".....followed by some Jackson Browne.

Sat. big band, swing, sometimes folk; Sunday, classical. Classic rock in the car and sometimes when doing chores. Jazz 80% of the time. Mace ---------------- No. You are in the "primarily listens to tax preparation software" category. Actually, I dig Marshall Loeb, too. His tax tips make me tingle. I can't wait for the duet album with Lisa Loeb. Hey, Songer! You back to liking people again, or just not advertising your distaste? fini

ChrisK
Got the latest 2 records in the Acoustic Sounds "the best jazz ever" 45rpm Kevin Gray/Steve Hoffman series. This is an over priced reissue series by most standards. But, for jazz newbies like me, it's a good way to get some great records in perfect shape. This month I received: - Duke Ellington Quartet, "Duke's Big Four" - Count Basie & His Orchestra, "88 Basie Street" All I can say is WOW! This stuff sounds so good it's sick. Even my wife and kids are enjoying them. Also listening to: - various Maria Callas records - played one on a Sunday morning, fell in love - Jack Johnson (cd) - the daughter is home on Spring Break and he's not half bad - John Mayer (cd) - same as above - Steel Pulse (cd) - same as above Regards, Chris
fini
Here's an interesting pair of lps I picked up the other day. One signed, the other is of interest to me because of the cover artist (William Steig). fini
