Yo, Sheik, I take it that you're a bigger Frank Zappa fan. Love his stuff, esp. "Pajama People".

Here's my current stable, which, short of a Cornwall and LCR trade on a Belle, is my current line up.

Love the old Heritage line-up. Fifty years from now it will be the most highly sought of the Klipsch lineage. Why? It was made by hand, it was made with care, it was made by PAUL."

First was...

1989 Forte I's (oiled walnut), which I gave to my brother when I purchased...

1995 Chorus II's (black). Have since added...

1976 Cornwalls (oiled walnut)

1993 Forte II's (oiled oak)

1990 Quartet's (oiled oak)

The 93 Forte II's (center and back surround) and 90 Quartets (left/right surround) are slowly being integrated into a 6.1 channel system, with the Chorus II's as the mains. (Edit: Left out the current center channel, a 2000 KLF-C7)

The Cornwalls are in a separate 2 channel system in the back living room.

All speakers are completely original and still sound great.

Damn, the only Klipsch I ever bought were my ProMedia 2.1s! The Cornwalls belonged to my dad, and they're the only Klipsch he ever bought way back in the day. Chops only bought his KG 5.5s, and our other brother bought a pair of KG 3.2s and a KSC-C1 center channel.

We don't buy much, but we keep using what we've got!2.gif

I have just acquired another pair of Heresy Is in very good condition yesterday at a local estate sale here in Manhattan for $150. Now I have to figure out how to take them back with me safely in one piece.

What would an all Heresy HT system sound like? What subwoofer is best matched for this heritage setup?

In order of appearance:

Pair SF-1's

KSW-10 (sold)

Pair SF-2's (Sold)

KSW-10 (sold)

Pair Quintet (thinking about mounting in Suburban)

Pair '79 WL LaScala's

Pair RS3's (sold to member)

RC3 (sold)

Pair '78 WO Klipschorns

Pair '78 BR now walnut Heresy's

The SF-1's reside in the bedroom, 2 ch. only. The rest make up the Heritage Home Theater.

Looking for Cornwalls and Belle's preferably late 70's to match the others.
