Just so we know what you're arguing against, I said "Price has nothing to do with inflation and everything to do with how much X costs relative to how much people value X or their dollars" ... I don't know why you said that's not true. Inflation is a Consumer Price Index based on select goods over a particular year. This has nothing to do with the prices of eggs going up due to bird flu, prices going down on X due to record field harvests, gas prices up due to the war support in Ukraine, or just because. The stereo equipment's high prices are due to some old geezers buying it, not because of inflation.

That's to bad. Perhaps it is akin to a curse, but I can tell difference. I have an ideal that I strive to achieve... so perhaps it is more a preference that a standard of gold, but I do need satisfaction as opposed to 'good enough as long as it's loud and clear'.

I am a subwoofer person and have predominately used them in all my 2 Ch systems.  They can offer a bit to the lower end.  Human hearing is most sensitive much higher in the frequency spectrum.  People favor midrange. Hmmm. FR vs personal enjoyment?

Wait...  Who he heck are you?  😂   Nuttin like a lil snow to bring 'em outta the woodwork!   -6 when I rolled out this morning and -27 wind chill up here.  Woke up all toasty n schiit at 730 so went out and ran a couple miles just to wake up.  Felt great!  Then I woke up.  Guess I went back to sleep after I hit the bathroom cause it was about 10.  I'm in love w/my electirc blanket.  Jacked it up to 4 last night and slept like baby Jesus.    Yup, yard looks good at your place.  Got that cabin fever yet?   Stay warm and tell the mama bear howdy!  Good to see you my friend!
