    • Agree with the above... No sub needed yet, you can get soon a Heritage horn sub  made by Klipsch soon, as yet another option...also, the RP-16 sw by Klipsch @formanj
    • For today's lunch : Salmon Asian/Indian Tikka masala over rice. Very tasty for a fish and rice dish!
    • I can't imagine you would need a subwoofer, considering the music you listen to. The Klipschorns play low enough to cover your bases. If you were playing rap or electronic music, or using the system for movies, then I could understand. So you may want to save your money.   That said, if you must have a subwoofer, The Klipsch Reference Premier series is of course, to be considered. I have and like SVSound subs as their customer service, which I've taken advantage of, is timely and detailed in their answers. They have an excellent return policy and they have an outlet link on their web site where you can buy returned or refurbished units at a discount, which I did. Lastly, I like HSU Research because their subs come with the ability to play them ported or sealed so you can experiment to see what you like; it's like having two different subs in one.
    • View from my deck in Colorado. The Air Force just finished their practice runs for tomorrow’s AFA graduations. Fighters, bombers and the odd Army chopper. The “sounds of freedom” on a sunny day.
    • Some fried trout at Bullwinkle’s in Yellowstone West. Most tasty. Scenic too.
    • I am looking for opinions on a subwoofer to pair with my 2015 Klipschorn speakers.  My room is medium-sized, and I am running vintage McIntosh amplifiers and preamps (I have a solid-state and a tube setup that I rotate).   I listen to music only on my 2-channel analog system, and I mainly listen to classic rock and blues/jazz.     Can I find something that will compliment the KHorns for under $1500?  Opinions?
    • Oh and what's wrong with your unit? There are parts in them that are very hard to obtain or impossible to obtain.
    • Probably you can't PM until 5 or 10 posts? I know there is some minmum. Do you know which type of unit you have? There were some made in USA and then the great majority in Japan. And yes they're different. The only ones I have worked on (mine) are the Japanese variety.
