  1. I found these in my garage. First I was going to put on Craigslist to trade for C8, but then wife, who is in lockdown across town with dying 96yo mother, suggested giving to our neighbor, who is a nurse at William Beaumont Hospital. Julie replied by text, ”OMG that would be amazing. Thank you so much. Thank you so much for thinking of me. We are running out so fast at work.” No, thank you Julie for providing care to others. The Vette must wait.

  2. You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Belgian beer is a class apart high up there... and then you have the rest of the world. Putting Danish and German beer next to Belgian beer in the same sentence? Come on man. 🙄😉

  3. I have an videocall appointment in 20 minutes But just finished spinning the 801 LP just in time One of the best live records from ex Roxy Music members that formed an interim band to pass away the time that lasted a handful of concerts But the material left behind is just incredible Artist - 801 Title - 801 Live

  5. Well ....We have a bit of home time on our hands now dont we. Finally finished up these Forte II's . They replaced a set of Herseys and I was not ready for what is an amazing upgrade in sound. Truly surpassed my expectations , much more base, super clear highs and mids. The new B&C DE10's are amazing, super smooth and not overwhelming at all. Really, a great improvemnt in that area. Super quality work in the manufacture. I was prepared to put in L-pads if my crossovers were a failure , not needed whatsoever. I guess I got lucky with my dart board design of Caps on my crossover.. 🙂 Even the wife who was a bit annoyed that I was bringing larger speakers in the house said that the upgrade was overwhelmingly good. Didnt hurt that the first thing I played was her favorite CD Cat Stevens. haha..Thanks to all on the fourm that contributed to the ideas that went into this project. Thanks for watching and take care of yourselves in these weird times.

  6. This disease spreads like Amway; you infect 5 people, each of them infects 5 people, etc. Betsy DeVos knows how that works.

Tears of joy at the birth of a brother Never alone from that time Sixteen Years through knife fights and danger Strangely why his life not mine West side skyline crying Fallen angel dying Risk a life to make a dime Lifetimes spent on the streets of a city Make us the people we are Switchblade stings in one tenth of a moment Better get back to the car Snow white side streets of cold New York City Stained with his blood it all went wrong Sick and tired blue wicked and wild God only knows for how long Fallen angel Fallen angel West side skyline Crying for an angel dying Life expiring in the city Fallen angel...

  14. I don't think the number of confirmed cases is a reliable parameter, too much depends on the amount of testing itself -> no tests = no cases. OTOH this curve is worrisome.

  15. 56 Right now going to 76 today, they say 83 by the end of the week. This is much better than the high 80's over the last 1.5 weeks, since summer is coming. .

  16. When I got up this morning at 0530 the temperature outside was 61 degrees. I thought I was still asleep and dreaming. I opened up the house and let the breeze flow from one end to the other and within a few minutes, the inside temperature was down to 67. So, this is what winter weather feels like, huh? I might have to put a shirt on today.

  17. You've still got the magazine advertisement First time I recall seeing your screen name was with a picture of that one. Drove a Barracuda/340 from that year or so before I got mine from a high school teacher near here. A super clean `73 in 1979 with a 400 Magnum auto slap-stick. The vinyl top was a plastic shell that could never degrade, that armor all when it came out made it shine like black lacquer. One of these except tan same rims and the exhaust that came straight back from the motor, almost no bends or twists, slotted cover tips like the baffles outside a large caliber machine gun to allow the barrel to cool. The wiper blades tucked under the hood when not being used!! & I got ten miles per gallon with the Carter four barrel and me being a 16 year old. I'll post a pic of the Accord sometime I can get 30mpg in town with it running on the left bank's three cylinders the dollar frugal way I drive most of the time now.

  22. That’s awesome! By the way did you know of the little secret that when you’re in the hospital you’re allowed to pinch the nurses and get away with it? Of course it’s possible that they may not find a vein with your next shot and have to stab you a few times that’s how you tell if they liked it or not

  24. I am somewhat old school when it comes to audio. I recently made an online purchase from Emotiva because my garage was in need of a sound system. So I bought what I would call a "stereo receiver' and cd player. Only thing is, they do not call it a receiver, it's called a stereo preamp/dac/tuner/with an integrated amplifier. Sounds like it's a stereo receiver to me. Does anybody have an opinion why Emotiva would offer this product up the way they do? Embarrassed to call it what it really is? By the way, I purchased the CD-100 and the TA-100. Not sure of what to call it, but in the garage, those two pieces sound really good with a pair of Klipsch RP-160M's. Neighbors might not think so.

  25. To me, an integrated amp with a tuner is a receiver. The addition of everything else makes their description make more sense.

  27. 76 is a great temp to have if you're going to be busy working around the house. Yesterday I cut the lawn, weed whacked, edged and used the blower on the walks and driveway. A very nice looking lawn, except for the front. That really needs some attention.I will be ordering new sod sometime this week.
