I needed to cool off a little after receiving a mobile phone traffic offence letter, so I have decided to contest it because itâs not one of the 3 laws they have legislated Anyway as I mentioned at the start I wanted to cool off with this record Now I need to construct an Affidavit Artist - Neil Young Title - Harvest5 points

Not sure if you have laws on mobile phone use in a car Here you canât hold a phone in hand, place it on oneâs shoulder or rest it on your lap My phone was in a waist bag that just popped up when I sat down I believe that I have a strong case So even if the courts decision still going against me I would elect to pay in instalments just to nark them But if I was not working I would have elected to go to jail instead of paying the fine - just on principle4 points

This was a cool project. Gent purchases an MA6100 from an estate sale. The amp is new, never used, still wrapped in plastic bag but it's missing the power supply board. So he needs a board and contacts me. I do not have these boards just lying around. There's two ways to solve this, buy a "donor" amplifier and hope it has a good board or design a new one. When he sent me an email, I intially said I wasn't interested. We chatted a bit more and I decided to do it and, as it turns out, wasn't really that difficult. Since I too own a 6100 I decided to design a board for my unit and his. So here's the factory original: And the replacement: Board pulled from the amplifier: Board ready for install:2 points

Klipsch doesn't offer power supplies; They won't repair the soundbar; If the soundbar is still under warranty, Klipsch will provide a replacement unit. If it is out of warranty... tough luck!2 points

Nice job on the subs they look great! Those adcoms are old and not the best option for subs in my opinion look at the pro amps with more power and features for less money new. Add a mini-DSP HD for EQ options or buy an amp with it built in so you can really fine tune things if you want. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/NX3000--behringer-nx3000-power-amplifier https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/XLS1502--crown-xls-1502-power-amplifier2 points

With everything posted lately... I listened to a few Doobie Brothers records on youtube today. The first when I was balled up on the sofa with a belly ache from he//. Now this one... my record sounds so rich and detailed I know it can't come through my pc-rig like my stereo can do it! If you were at least a teen in the late 70s this one (side 2) was a part of your night-life NYC music encompassed many genres. *Nope he's from Montreal, Quebec!2 points

My son has been learning how to play bass and has been taking lessons for a few months now. Since I will never pass up the opportunity to purchase musical instruments, when he asked for his own bass for his birthday, I figured why not. We went to Guitar Center a week or so ago where he tried a few lower end models that were within our budget. Unfortunately, the one he liked was out of our budget, which was a black and white Jackson X series concert bass. Today I went in to pick up one that he was settled on and right as I walked in was the X series on clearance for half the price. Sales rep: Would you like to try that out? Me: No not today my good man, I'm feeling saucy, I think I'm going to buy it.2 points

How bout that for a bit of Floyd? They just melt the wimmen so it's time to throw this one on for the ride outta the venue! đ Sticky Fingers is the 9th British and 11th American studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones. The Stones released it on 23 April 1971 on their new, and own label Rolling Stones Records. Yaaaas, your parents really DID know what was going on at those shows didn't they? đ2 points

The problem could be whatever design you used when you built your passive subs. Your calculations could be way off. I agree with the suggestion to buy pre-built subs and since Klipsch makes brutally efficient speakers, you obviously need subs that can keep up. Wuzzzer's suggestion of the new Klipsch subs is a good one. Using amp power to increase your subs' output is expensive and gains will be marginal. You could run two subs on each system like roninklipsch above which may be necessary with your efficient speakers. Expensive, too. If you can't find a sub with speaker level inputs for your needs, you could use a "Y" cable to split the input signal to each sub. The input impedance is high so driving two subs with one line level output shouldn't be a problem.2 points

http://www.hattor.com/ I highly recommend this when you investigate passive pres.1 point
-
One more thing. If the OP ends up with an input sensitivity of 1v or less he should investigate a passive line stage. A source with a robust output stage and at least 2v wonât need the extra gain and will add no extra noise.1 point

I would be interested in what the actual failure rate is compared to other leading sub brands. Also note that Klipsch is now offering a 5 year warranty, which is what SVS offers. Regardless on how you feel about putting a label on a box, I believe its them acknowledging the issue and doing what they can to back it up. Good companies don't sell products based on the idea that it won't break, but how they handle it.1 point

@dirtmudd what you said abiut the Rush media collection. Have only 1 cd by them Rush Exit Left or ? Anyway live and a good one. Did not know they were as prolific. Anyway FR and JohnJ, Bloodrock was the band that did the famous DOA song, played to death on rafio in the day. Good band in their own right. Higher on the radar screen back then. Kool-Aid Kids...
