  1. Well, unfortunately they don't seem to be in a hurry to do anything....I posted a high priority bug two days ago on their forum, has 4 views and 0 responses.
  2. I would say that is very reasonable pricing......thanks for the info.
  3. My LSI splits sound fantastic with a vintage Marantz 1250 integrated amp, or vintage Pioneer SX-1250/1050/950. Also have put a Marantz 2230 and 2226B on them, and while very good, not up to snuff with the two aforementioned....
  4. Jim, my apologies.....somehow I was thinking New Haven when you said Princeton....I should know better, my nephew is being recruited to play football for Princeton...Frank Pepe's is in New Haven, at Yale...
  5. Go to Parts Express, they should have what you need. http://www.parts-express.com/Search.aspx?keyword=binding%20post%20caps&sitesearch=true

  10. Photos of each would help. thanks
  11. Ah yes, the old "dip stick" issue....Looking forward to reading more, and hope you get it resolved.
  12. Anybody snag these yet? Those walnut/birch/balsa wood LS look pretty nice.....even for you Flodida folk.....
  13. Don't we know one of those experienced builders here on the forum? Hmmmmmm........
  14. OK, maybe I'm not understanding fully, but this was a manufacturers defect that you had no damping fluid? Is that correct?
  15. Yea, yea, I tried my best to keep it clean, but there's no accounting for other's.....
  16. They are huge, no, massive....the thing that strikes you first visually is the gigantic mid horn, it absolutely takes over the room....no matter what size room....The musical reproduction is crystal clear, almost too much for me. I think in the right room, with the right treatments, proper gear and material, they are absolutely second to none. Given that, in the wrong room, etc, etc, they accentuate the negatives about the environment.
  17. Let's get us some REAL web developers in here!!
  18. I guarantee you will not be disappointed with Frank Pepe's. Give yourself some time, there is always a line....
