  1. Travis, thanks for posting this, great interview, I had not seen this
  2. Happy Birthday Mr. Klipsch, Thank-you for such a remarkable legacy!
  3. Reversing polarity can be done by reversing the wires to a driver at the terminal strip on the balancing network. This inverts the movement of that driver by 180 degrees and changes the interaction of that driver’s output with other drivers in the crossover region.
  4. Polarity is reversed on both the midrange and tweeter relative to the woofer on the type E network.
  5. Thanks Jim, looking forward to what you can dig up!
  6. I remember a game from childhood where they line up the class in a row and the first student reads a sentence to the next person, who then repeats it to the next person until it passes through the entire line. The last person to hear it then goes back to the first person to compare what they heard to the original sentence. It NEVER comes close to matching even when the students are told to repeat it exactly as they heard it. Too funny!
  7. I notice that this is a T-2 ( with one fewer taps than the later T-2A) When was the T-2A implemented and what are the differences in the winding ratios of the taps between the two?
  8. Very happy that this philosophy is still alive and well at Klipsch. It honors Mr. Klipsch and respects the loyalty of customers with a real and important benefit. Thanks to all who made this happen!
  9. Has anyone seen Steve Guttenburg’s review of the Jubilee? It just came out on YouTube.
  10. Here’s a solution.... just make that first batch as decorator models until the veneer shows up 😉😉😉
  11. Travis, this horticulture graduate gets your clue......
  12. There will be a lot more “heard’s” following this event, I am looking forward to the discussions that will arise from the demonstrations!
  13. What he said.... I was there too!
  14. Great room is 24’x42’ with a ceiling of 5.0 pitch side-to-side, height from 8’6” to 18’6”. K-horns are on the 24’ wall with a Belle center-channel
  15. Exactly right... heard a setup like this at a live concert two weeks ago at the Paul W. Klipsch auditorium in Hope AR. Outstanding performance with two La Scalas and one kpt-1802, there was absolutely nothing missing, hearing is believing!
  16. I think the Jubilee is destined to really stir things up in the audio world starting next year, this is going to get interesting!
  17. I have reached the same conclusion with numerous placement experiments with the Jubilees at our restaurant. Smooth walls or no walls provides excellent results. Once you experience what happens when there are no problems acoustically, it is easy to hear the problems that result from something that messes with the sound stage.
  18. Thank you for the gift of great sound! You were willing to do the heavy lifting to advance the art and science of sound reproduction, we are forever grateful for your contributions!
  19. I did make some risers to lift the speakers off the patio surface about 2”. This keeps moisture away from the bottom of the bass horns, especially when it is snowing. There are no castors on them however.
  20. Travis, I have some of those furniture dollies that are sold at Lowe’s or Home Depot. They work just fine for moving the Jubes around the shop or the dining room.
  21. The Jubilees are moved safely and easily with a simple two wheel hand cart. I just slip it underneath and rock it backward, then it can be moved as a single unit, top and bottom. I know I am not typical, I have worked in the supermarket industry for most of my career, unloading semi-trucks and handling heavy freight. For me, these are easy.
