  1. You bring it to Derricks and we'll just see about that I'm glad you're bringing it ! I really enjoyed it . Keep it a few more years and then maybe I can take it off your hands
  2. I can bring my lab12 Sub (Horn loaded) It's just gathereing dust. I can bring Crown K2 to run it as well.
  3. dtel I love that ad and it makes sense to me Ignorance was bliss !
  4. That's awesome , you have so many things I would like to audition I cannot make the 24th
  5. The last TV I purchased was a Samsung Curved 4k and I am very happy with it. If I were to get another TV tomorrow it would be a Sumsung 4k again. The upscaling is very good , I would not however pay extra for the curved , I believe the screen would need to be enormous for the curve to be of any real benefit. FWIW until recently I saw a dozen or so different TV's on a daily basis .
  6. I don't believe they merged. I believe Samsung bought Sony out of a joint venture to make panels with an agreement to purchase panels from Samsung
  7. Definitely Cool and will work but massive overkill
  8. I think it's highly unlikely you'll see a system of this magnitude and in this condition again .
  9. The only one I know of who has exact replacements is WC at Panacea Engineering. But they were in his words expensive and I don't think any one has been able to get a hold of him for some time .
  10. Derrick You know what they say , Build it and they will come . You have enough subs alone to keep us entertained

    Forum Facelift 2016

I like the Dark Theme Thanks Chad
  12. Congratulations ! They are beautiful . I heard Khorns in the late 70's and they hooked me on the Klipsch sound . Like you it took me some time (mid 90's) to get my first pair. I still haven't acquired any Khorns like you Welcome and Enjoy !
  13. I'm Guessing this is the system "Ram Sound" was selling in 2012 and just like Bob He seems to want to sell it all at once. I Emailed him about splitting it up and he didn't seem interested . Bob was leaning towards splitting it up towards the end and even quoted me price for a pair with dollies , cables , and covers but found someone at the last minute to take the whole setup .

    I'm First!

Surprising how many times I clicked on the bookmark out of habit , even though I knew the Forum was down
  16. Jim if there is a guitar center close by you might want to stop in and check it out . They usually have a pretty good selection of cables , plus you can pick up that Disco Ball and Strobe Light you've been wanting so badly.
  17. wow !!!! That is one beautiful setup
  18. So Derrick when are you hosting a get together
  19. Get to Hope for the gathering next year. It's made a showing the last two years. I want to in the worst way ! It just never seems to work out but it is a priority for sure
  20. Well, there's THIS. I have to say something about that sub, the 1802. For the last 4 days we have been listening to one of these at a friends house, kharmondds is his forum name. Kevin put one between Jubes, we drug it in and set it up last Friday, moved the 684's out, then we were shocked at how powerful and clean it is. It's big but if there is space it's amazing. The 1802 replaced a PAIR of KPT-684's, that's one 18" driver replacing 4 18" drivers, and it blew the 684's away easily. Horn loaded, done well is amazing. After a few days we were still in shock at the performance, the other part is it blends in perfectly with the horn loaded main speakers. Unless I heard wrong there is a "rumor" that they may be other horn subs coming later, I would guess none will be small considering the design, but there are very impressive. I really want to experience that sub
  21. Agree wholeheartedly with this.... As much as I hate to agree with Jim that would be a nightmare But of course if you go that way a BS button would be more appropriate Those that think a persons post count reflects their knowledge or "value" are WRONG there are definitely people here with high post counts that spout BS consistently . If you post you should be able to defend your post or at least state that its an educated guess or only your opinion ! If you don't have the backbone to back up your remarks , you probably don't have the backbone to pick up a Klipsch Speaker ( which are usualy big and heavy) anyhow People ask for advise here regularly, with the great forum members here and the vast knowledge available they usually get several answers. Unfortunately many are wrong and the ones that call out the BS are doing the community a favor ! I for one don't have the patience and rarely have the knowledge to do so. Oh and of course this is only My opinion Just saw the voting thing I respectfully think this is a bad idea as well. Do you want to provide education and information or do you want to find out who is the most popular. Having said that I understand the fellowship is just as important to most of us . Jeez just reread this and it appears I have a problem with Jim . I met him and several members at a get together once and met some really great people including Jim . Only problem I have with Jim is he left with an amp of his that I wanted to permanently borrow .
  22. Congrats Let us know what you think after you get a chance to play with them. FWIW I love KG5.5's
