  1. Great finds.I have a friend who has to drive around most of the day, and he finds a lot of nice working audio items on the side of the road. He has pretty much built his HT around road finds, and then later he upgrades if needed. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk

  4. My friend anticipates starting the veneer done this weekend. I hope to have them home sometime next week. Once I do I need to run down and get some wood for the space frame, and then once that is done...get the wood for a cabinet. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
  5. Chris suggested I use a 1 3/4" holesaw instead and make them longer for my setup...they are still a 10:1 compression, just a little smaller diameter. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
  6. My MEHs will be on their sides... I will be posting up how they sound once we get them veneered, assembled, and tuned. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk

  9. Progress pics...we now have the holes cut in 4 K402s.. .hopefully sometime this week or next I will be assembling them. The horns will protrude out the front a couple of inches from the motherboard. The motherboard will be 1 1/2" thick and made of 2 layers of MDF. The cabinet (if we decide to use a cabinet) will also be made of 1 1/2" MDF. The MDF will be covered with Mahogany veneer. We will be using Speakon jacks for the hookups. The cabinet will be 4' high x 25" wide...depth is not decided yet. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
  10. I have been told...wait a couple of weeks before you use it. What I would do is leave it outside for a few days, and then open it outside, and leave it for another week or so before bringing it inside the house. Obviously make sure the package and contents are protected from the weather. Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk

  23. I told the seller to just shrink wrap since it was going via U-Ship. The guy was hauling them in a SUV. When they got to Laredo my Delivery service wrapped them with another blanket, and delivered them to me 10 hours away in Mexico in perfect condition. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  24. You can always use U-Ship It cost me $350 as I recall to ship a pair of k402 horns from California to Laredo Texas, and only took a little over a day. The horns were shrink wrapped and had a blanket for padding...they arrived perfectly too. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
