  1. I've got an open bottle of Smooth Ambler Old Scout Single Barrel 10yr that I'll be enjoying for the occasion.
  2. They can be had in espresso finish for only $1699 on the Klipsch website. Looks like they may be out of Natural though. http://www.klipsch.com/products/palladium-center-speakers#p-27c
  3. But you're right that no one would load their personal vehicle like that.
  4. I've seen lots of work trucks that are beaten to death by employees of construction companies.
  5. Very nice work. What'd you use for adhering the veneer? Edit: scratch that, I see you have a can of contact cement in one of your pics.
  6. These guys carry rosewood: http://www.oakwoodveneer.com/wood-veneer/rosewood.html
  7. Great comparison of the RF7II and HeresyIII, thanks for posting.
  8. How do you have the dual centers wired together? Very nice looking room.
  9. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder which is the best part of this proposal.
  10. I'd say that stocking the veneer wouldn't be too much trouble, but from what I've seen Klipsch uses pre-veneered MDF. Are the heritage speakers veneered on site?
  11. I think it would be Heresy to put some Chinese made bluetooth speaker in the american Klipsch factory.
  12. In addition to the existing Walnut and Cherry, i think Mahogany, Rosewood, and figured Maple may be popular choices for veneer with the usual black and cane grill colors.
  13. I would agree with this. I think your decision should consider the size of your room and typical listening volumes. I have my RC-64 in a large bonus room where we watch movies at higher volumes while my RC-62 is in a smaller family room where we just watch regular tv. They both work well for their respective uses.
  14. How bout an Apple TV playing some bookshelf speakers over AirPlay?
  15. I'll let you know in 30 years.
  16. Holy crap, they have beer too!

    Harry Potter

The movies were very well produced even if you're not into the genre.
  19. http://greenville.craigslist.org/eld/5565586434.html This would be an awesome setup for someone. The prices look very fair. No affiliation.
  20. I would get the Pioneer for the Class-D amplification which will do better running that many speakers. I think you'll still need to add an external two channel amp for a 7.1.4 setup.
  21. Looks like reinforcing dowels were installed to help tie the concrete slabs together.
