I found my RF82's to be piercing at first but it wears off after awhile, I think it's those titanium phragms...

Are you watching like TV shows on dvd? because I have a few that make that sound sometimes, I just chalk it up to bad audio on the film set.

Yeah I was just referring to the ones they shipped to me in. Some people like to have those things. Personally I don't have the room to store the boxes.
