  2. Your room is plenty big to move Forte out from wall. If you live in apartment you will never be able to turn up Scalas....My son has RB35s in a 4 plex and they all complained so he just un hooked them.
  3. It will be hard if you have to go around a corner. Why not get Forte III ?? If your buying new call Cory first for sure. 38.5h, 24.25w, 25.25d, 176 lbs, could not find weight of each section.
  4. I agree its the caps ….terminal strip...or bad tweeter. You can get new caps from Bob Crites or parts express easy to do. My bet is its just bad connection but caps need to be replaced anyway.
  5. I tried searching for Grossbjorn could not find it. Could you post link ??
  6. https://www.klipsch.com/products/ki-362 Call Cory he might know about them.
  7. You may want to contact Cory on Jubs or other theater type speakers. look up the 396 we heard it at the Pilgramage.
  8. Where you located ? Call Cory before you buy anything. Stereo shops are few and far between. Find a forum member and make a trip. At least your in the right forum for advice.
  9. I bought a INTEGRA from ac4l and it worked fine. I did have trouble with my 50 HDMI run. I called them and they told me to try shorter HDMI to see if that was in fact what was causing the problem. Turned out it was. I got treated fairly I think although it could have been a bit better. But saying that, a friend of mine had the Klipsch ref 15 sub amp go out....they have had known problems with this amp I'm told.....but all Klipsch told him to do was send it to some repair station they gave him and that was it. I think Klipsch should have helped with half of the repair. I probably will never recommend a Klipsch sub any more they had several sub amps go out. But as long as the customer service is better then ATT I'm pretty happy......I am so glad to be done with those A**holes. I also dont think Yamaha is any where near what it use to be so maybe the OP should try a better AVR from ac4l. I do hope they come on here or contact one of us about this cause I think they are a good company over all. Another idea is to call Cory and order a unit from him which would help a Klipsch dealer out and he will answer the phone himself.
  10. If you need new diaphragms ..which I dont think you do....call Bob he has them.
  11. The Belle is #5. I think the change occurred around the 80s. Heresy II doesn't use K55V I dont think. I use to have a history page but it doesn't work anymore. I found this https://2d73e25b29782b6d6766-9c8af5cbfef16739445bc76457060528.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/Codex_V3_130823_635128700889860000.pdf Im sure someone will come on here and have the details and dates.
  12. I would call Klipsch......if that doesn't fix it send back. Then call Cory buy from him probably get better deal. Have not heard of any problems like this on here or FB page so should not happen.
  13. You could try Emotiva 300 amp for little money and see. I think it would help not sure how many watts yours puts out per channel but it could use help on front 2 I bet. If you want higher end you could go to Parasound give Cory a call on that for sure.
  14. Sorry to hear that she sounds awesome... I lost best friend this year also.
  15. WOW those look awesome. I would be interested in the walnut tweety horn.
  16. I agree with Moray , I had forgot about those grill holes even after I did them on my sons Fortes. There could be bad connections inside there also causing sound problems. I forget how the mid driver is fixed to the horn but if its screw on and has a gasket ...best check that also.
  17. I have heard Forte II and they did not sound like what you got.....try different source first . The ones I heard were hooked to a 1970s HK 430 . That tract horn may be showing you stuff thats wrong with your sources that KGs couldn't. But checking those caps would be good idea and a cheap fix.
  18. You still use the corner if you want to......just not as necessary, Plus I bet 40% dont have them sealed into corners properly anyway.
  19. Saw and heard the first test model in Hope on the pilgrimage. Hard to say but sounded pretty good until I heard what they were going to cost. I think they said the bass been was only changed in the way it was assembled to make it easier. I got pics of one being made I could not see any difference in the parts. Im sure there are pics of it on here some where maybe under pics from pilgrimage. I did like the removable grill though cause I want to change my grills to lambs wool. Plan to make another set of motor boards so I can change them out.
  20. I recommend furniture grippers.....so does Andy HDBR. He recommended to me to try them years ago simple easy and cheap.
  21. Dont forget if you do get them they need to be sealed into corners. Most use 1 inch pipe foam along the tail board and top edge of horizontal bass bin board. Get new caps from Bob Crites and then be set the rest of your life. They look awesome in that pic.
  22. Looks like they are coming back from the dead....lol. Maybe a zombie is selling them, I would not meet him in that location with out a gun.

I spoke to Eminence Technology and opted for the beefer Kappa Pro-15LFC, 4 ohm speaker to max out my Dayton amp. Plainly put, this speak
