  1. Wow, I like it. Assume that is the name of the place. Where is it located? If they don't, they should, sell a reproduction poster. As I suspect it is a candidate for sticky fingers. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  2. Dug our Turntable out of storage: cleaned and provided some long overdue attention. Upon realizing that phono-amp missing. Ordered an updated replacement, that was delivered today from Franklin, TN. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

  4. I am need of replacement binder posts as well. Klipsch suggested either Parts Express or Monoprice. Between the two websites, an overwhelming pool of possible solutions was offered. I was overwhelmed by the choices and welcome anyone's opinion, please. Noted a basic plastic binder post with the hardware metal appear gray/silver color. Plus what I believe is a preferred option, binding p99to to ost. Made of 100% copper, coated with 24k gold. Thank you in advance, Jeff Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  5. I postion my Forte II's, appropriately 6 to 8" from back wall. Don't recall what, if any reccomendendations were given when purchased in 1990. Other than best to toe the speakers in. Some Klipsch friends had suggested to place close to wall, to gain better imagining and base. We have moved a few times, anf each time, always place Forte in about the same place. Then played with them until we found the "spot" where they sound just right. Our Forte II's have never failed to fill our home with wonderful sounds. Admit, have occasionally considered upgrading, but after listening to the various options available. I return home to enjoy listening to our Forte II's rich, quality, clear, natural sound. For over 17 years nothing has grabbed, as the Fortes did. Wish all my investment had been as beneficial. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

  7. Your speakers look sweet. Not familiar with this series, please share dimensions? I am considering speakers for bedroom, primarily background tunes for relaxing. Preferably bookcase size as require a small footprint. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
  8. "The restorative powers of music", have provided comfort for many from their ills. Others believe the same power in fact, may have given them the peace to focus in their belief of recovery. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

  13. I want to have music in my bedroom as I had when age 11 to and through College? How would all rate sound from 75's I am only familiar with Forte II, Heresy I and III. Appreciate any suggestions from fellow forum members, please? Other half, prefers bookcase size speakers. Thank you in advance to all that offer suggestions for our possible speaker's . 14. I agree with EJC, my story is similar, I also bought Forte II's new, in 1990. Made same upgrades from Bob Critics by upgrading Crossovers, plus changed both the Tweeters and Mids to Titanium. Those changes took these great speakers up a big notch, in improving their sound experience. Whenever I have considered replacing them; I go listen to various options available. Always reaching same conclusion, new speakers and spending more money hasn't led me to anything that motivates me to replace. Forte II's, continue to deliver a beautiful sound experience and their is nothing to gain by replacing them. One of the few purchases that I have made, that never presented buyers remorse. 20. Several years ago, I clearly recall epsiodes that were not within the spirt of this forum. That being mutual sharing of information & support of our joint hobby. As well as sharing & preserving the legacy of Paul W. Klipsch. DizRotus comments are very accurate, especially in that we lost expertise however, "ALK chose how he interacted" with the forum. That caused unnecessary caustic outcomes, in my opinion. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

  22. I bought a few albums over time. My first exposure was early 80's while comparing speakers at Hifi store (able to keep cool during heat wave, as didn't have A/C). The salesperson suggested I use the King James, Sheffield Labs album for demo'ing. Wow, what an incredible moment, the first time hearing recording. Thirty plus years later continues to be one of our favorite recordings. In turn, fell in love with one particular speaker, that was above anything ever heard. They were Heresy's, not to say that the Cornwalls or La Scala's were chump change. The Heresy's at that stage of income & space were perfection. Continue to visit them once a month. Until my new wife and I had paid off our wedding. Then with the extra cash we bought them as a gift to each other. Sorry for long story. Am proud to share, especially since we continue to listen to Klipsch, together as best friends. Both have continue to reward with relaxing enjoyment. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
