  6. I've used this crossover and tweeter mod in Khorns and LaScalas. The sound is very good to my ears and a substantial improvement over the sound of a K-77 tweeter and crossover at 6000hz. It is worth noting that Klipsch has also changed the crossover in Khorns and LaScalas to 4500hz or thereabouts. I didn't realize it, but the sound of the K-55 driver as it poops out at 6000hz is not very good. Didn't notice it until i wasn't hearing it. The CT-125 handles those freqs and doesn't break a sweat. Also, it's pretty much bullet proof compared to the K-77.
  7. I've been happy with the sound of my LaScalas and Khorns with Type A crossovers. Would imagine that the Cornscalas would sound good with something similar. Knowing that you enjoyed the high end of your previously owned LaScalas, think you will enjoy the cornscalas.
  8. Thanks Amy. I'm in for two Edwin's for my grand-daughters. You've got a great pitch man. Love the promotional vids.

  12. I'm about ready to replace tires on my 1999 F-150. It's a short bed regular cab v6 XL model. pretty close to a base model. "standard" tires are P235 70/R16 or P255 70/R16 or could also use P245 75/R16 Light Truck tires. current tires are P255 70/R16. They were new factory tire "take offs" from a new vehicle and left behind at a car dealer. really not sure if it originally had P235 or P255 tires, but it was probably P235. This truck has been pretty kind to the tires it wears. 225K+ miles. they have always been all season M+S type tires. Most all of my driving is highway. Occasional gravel or dirt roads. Rarely or never off road for more than a few car lengths. certainly not for sport. In SE Arkansas, there is very little ice and snow. I would rather have a tire rated excellent in NOT hydroplaning. I've looked at consumer reports and see they also rate tires for rolling resistance. Not sure how much difference this might make in gas mileage. Any advice appreciated. Never have put Michelins on it. which is ok with me. good either way I'm hoping for less than $150 per tire. One thing, i lean toward made in USA tires just out of principle. even if the sub $100 Singapore made Dextero tires have good walmart customer reviews.
  13. Justin, these look great. thank you for not posting any pictures of these amps with naked tubes. I know they sound must be very fine for you to associate your name with them. a great deal for some one I'm not a tech type, to understand sensitivity and such. Any particular fave or recommendation for preamp?
