rplace 3249 Posted March 10, 2018 Getting my Oscar nominations in. Typically they disappoint but in the last week or two I've seen Darkest Hour, three billboards outside ebbing Missouri, and Lady Bird. All worth watching. Three Billboards is the best. Fantastic acting, very good music throughout and some good visuals of N.C. even though it is supposed to take place in Missouri....pays to watch the extras. Darkest Hour and Dunkirk would make a fantastic double feature.
ebdixson 22 Posted March 11, 2018 We really enjoyed this movie - I don't think the previews did the movie justice as my expectations were fairly low going in - which never happens with a Pixar movie. The colors and overall picture looked fantastic in 4k and the soundtrack was great.
wuzzzer 1831 Posted March 19, 2018 Star Wars: Rogue One. It's my wife's favorite of all the Star Wars movies so I don't have to worry about her telling me to turn it down.
Schu 4935 Posted March 20, 2018 I think that Rogue One is in the top three SW movies for sure... New hope, empire strikes back and rogue one and not necessarily in that order.

rplace 3249 Posted March 21, 2018 I, Tonya. Way better than I expected. Great soundtrack. Interesting to get the full perspective on something you think you know and really don't. Well worth 2 hours of your life.
jbsl 35 Posted April 28, 2018 Very good western! When you see interviews with Christian Bale and he is speaking with his English accent it does not sound right to me. Every movie I have seen him in he has a American accent.

derrickdj1 8232 Posted May 2, 2018 Blade Runner 2049, I put this movie on and am waking up from it. I dozed 2-3 times during the show.

I found it visually stunning and sonically amazing. The detail, like footsteps and doors opening, sounded like I was inside the guys shoe or hand. It was long and dragged a bit.

dimanata2007 16 Posted May 4, 2018 12 strong. Good story, good movie, good sound. Most of the war scenes are too light and civilized, but still, it's a pretty good movie and definitely worth watching it. I'd give it 7 out 10.
