Fluid behind the ear drum prevents it from vibrating causing the hearing loss. Fluid likely from my lingering cold. The course of action from my GP would not have helped says the new doctor. 80% respond in a month doing nothing at all. 10% more within 6 weeks. The only medication to speed up recovery is Prednisone so I'm on day two of that. No music for me unless I want it to be mono Cloudy and 58 here. LF is playing tennis.....I'm drinking coffee. The staff were great. They made him a crown and told him to put his hands in the air like a roller coaster when they wheeled him back. They make it as pain free as possible! Let the healing begin!
