Cables, Coffee, Cycles, and Cocktails

The bath room remodel was such a success, the lady now has me redoing her mother's living room. She, too, wants the wainscot on the ceiling. Then a nice coat of paint on the walls. That is, after I remove the wallpaper. Time for some coffee and get ready for my day.

I remember an interview with TV Tommy saying he could not see driving the 4 engine/4 wheel drive dragster because of all the tire smoke.

There are some great shots in that vid. Thank you.

He sure makes a Buick man proud.

You have to love the luggage rack on top of the Riv Wagon dragster.

I can't think of anyone that I would think would do a better job Luther.

I do remember the old days at the track, including that 1/4 mile wheel stander, it was a little wild back then.

Back then they did not care, we would bring in a ice chest full of beer and sit in the stands all day. One of our first few dates were at the track in Laplace LA.

I have always been told I need to tee the ball up a little higher.

Never thought about using a tall boy before.

That is as fast as I ever seen John move is when he realized that beer was flowing onto the ground.

Also glad to see he is still smoking those lung rockets.

The look on his face when he saw the can tipped over was funny.

He'll never change, and that's why his fans love him.  Pretty sure he's made more money doing goofy exhibitions, wearing his colorful outfits than he ever did on tour.

More power to him!

My first exposure to John was the PGA tournament at Crooked Stick here in Indianapolis. He was an alternate who got the call late, drove that night from Memphis to Indy and then won the event.

He has such a great, fluid swing. All natural, zero effort. Another with one of golfs most fluid, effortless swings is Freddie Couple.

The Big Easy, Ernie Els is who I tried to pattern my swing after.

I did not work.
