Driving into work, thermometer in car said 82 degrees at 7:00am  Jeesh! And its muggy. Got some sub tropical moisture coming in from Baja I think. Desert thunderstorms possible later today but probably further east than my area.

And even though its been only a 3 day work week  TGIF

Cheers:emotion-44:

Helping my friend install new 6ft. tall privacy fence around his auto body business/tow lot. Not sure how many linear feet we are doing but I do know I'm looking at $14K of supplies. I imagine we've put in around 100 yds. so far. 90-95 F is getting harder to deal with for this old man. I used to like working, riding bicycle, etc. in the blazing heat. Made me feel like I was really putting forth some effort. The older I get the less time I can work in heat and I hate that. Really puts things in perspective.

Lets get something very clear - my work, whether in the heat or cold, is limited to ground level or very near so.

These guys here a combining work and Circ de Soliel. Far above my pay grade - no pun intended.

No, you were on his last nerve

Probably been there for a while, I would have thought he would have been use to it by now, like the soup nazi on seinfeld. :o

Back when I did electrical work I had to climb towers hundreds of feet, but the big difference was we had safety harnesses. That picture is crazy, an accident waiting to happen, they don't pay enough anywhere to do that.

Yep just damn peachy out (t)here. Nice weather if ya like hell. Building a mortar less retaining wall presently, don't know how many of them blocks I'll be able to place today after work. No matter how many I'll be ready for a cocktail afterwards:emotion-22::emotion-46: Or two
