Moderators dtel Posted February 10, 2015 Moderators Share Posted February 10, 2015 Ok Youthman I "liked" that, but not because I liked it but because I thought it's a possibility ?
iRONic
Thanks for checking. I am home and improving. These past few days have brought major improvements in my walking. That is excellent, WJ!
Gilbert
I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes. I am doing very well all considered. I can walk using a walker or if I hang onto someone for balance. This should improve over time. I have been refered to Vanderbuilt University to see a specialist. I am waiting on that right now. I will be out of work for at least 6 more weeks. Thanks to all. Glad your'e healing, and sorry the sports activities are off for you. With an username like wakejunkie, I can imagine that's not going to be easy. All is not lost though, go get yourself a good rod and reel and start fishing Heal safe brother, and take care. WakeJunkie
I am home and improving. These past few days have brought major improvements in my walking. And yes... my subs are working just fine. Another picture bit the dust today thanks to Youthman telling me about some oldschool bass with Techmaster PEB. picture didn't last 5 seconds into "just gimme that." I appreciate all the prayers.

prerich
Two days ago, at 36 years old, my best friend Wakejunkie had two strokes. For the most part he's doing fine. Has some balance issues and cannot walk without assistance. Dr said its a miracle he is alive. Only 10% survive from a stroke like he had and he had two making it around 1% of people that survive. Here is the latest update from his wife Update: the doctor has confirmed that it is a tear in his vertebral artery alone causing the strokes. It is a life changing event. The doctor said it is a miracle that he didn't die and to count this as a second chance. He will not be able to play sports anymore, go to the chiropractor, or pop his neck without risk of causing another tear. He should heal from his present symptoms over the next three months but doctor says risk of re-injury is great. It is a weakness of connective tissue and not from previous surgery. Treatment for this event is major blood thinners until the tear heals and then an aspirin type regiment. Please keep him in prayer as he adjusts to these changes. He has my prayers indeed. Moderators Youthman Posted February 13, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2015 I will be headed to visit with Shaun at the end of this month. I am really looking forward to hearing his Dual 18" IB subs and the Custom RC-7ii that he built. He loves it now with his low end Denon. Can't wait to bring him his new Onkyo TX-NR1008. I'm hoping to have my Sherbourn back from repair and take that up there with me. He's always been curious what an external amp would sound like on his system.

Moderators Youthman Posted February 13, 2015 Author Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2015 And Wake is a great friend to me. Honestly, he's the brother than I never had. I've been able to hook him up with some gear through my CL finds but he always hooks our family up with wake boarding, not to mention once he gets better, he's hooking me up with a 1st class front wall for my HT that will accommodate my 150" AT Screen. When he gets ready, I'll be hooking him up with a Custom Website to feature his HT Renovation projects. That's just what best friends do. We don't keep tabs on who owe's who. The logic is...if we have it....we share it.
