Sounds better than what I had: Jantzen Superior at the primary, ERSE 14 AWG air core low pass coil (and Super Q). Moody Blues in the morning - will tell all. Deang, where do you get your capacitor saddles? https://www.parts-express.com/cable-wire-tie-screw-mount-120-lb-tensile-10-pcs-made-in-usa--080-512 The edges are hard/somewhat sharp. Put something under the cap -- I use foam, and cut it into small pieces -- and don't cinch too tight. https://www.parts-express.com/acoustic-sound-damping-foam--260-

Thanks Dean, I really like they way my La Scalas currently sound. Always up for an experiment but, if my wife doesn’t like the result, the AA set goes right back in. Deang
I don't think I would have built these if I would have had to pay for everything up front. The only thing I just bought were the two low pass coils, because Jeff Glowacki was practically giving them away -- everything else I already had. The Jupiter copper foils actually came from Bob, who received them on trade - which is how I ended up with the C-core autotransformers (trade). Just look in the cable TV area. They have adhesive backing but I put screws in them as well.

avguytx
I used what may be the same thing that I ordered from Parts Express along with the Audyn caps, terminal strips, etc. I also added the screws just to be on the safe side and they were easy enough to zip tie the caps to them.
