The gas cars worthy of saving are the ones from the sixties, with big blocks and such . If we don’t mess with those we’re good. Who cares what’s under the hood of an SUV anyway ? JJkizak Posted June 28, 2023 Author Share Posted June 28, 2023 Western Electric made batteries for their electronics backup that worked in reverse---as the battery discharged the output would increase and when it reached it's maximum capability you had to recharge them. Take climate change out of thr argument. There are many benefits to electric power than IC. One example, when there wasn't many people driving during the period from 2020-2021, I noticed I was able to breathe a lot better, especially when running. What if we started incorporating solar systems on our homes, solar systems that charge a battery bank, that charge our cars? Wouldn't that relieve the grid? Of course, there are problems with adding solar to your home, this I understand as I've researched it, and yes, by the time it's paid for itself, I'm back to square one...so that needs to change.
