tommyboy
We bought Kenny G's xmas album today. I put it in, and my girl was blown away! I would have never guess SHE would do this, but she just sat there for a good 10 minutes just listening. then she says, "if you close your eyes and just pretend for a second, its like he's right here in the living room playing that sax". I told her welcome to the world of Klipsch[H]

tommyboy
I know I know, it's Kenny g. She wanted some xmas music, and I like jazz, so we killed 2 birds with one stone so to speak.
oldtimer
Oh my god! My wife bought that cd a few years ago. I put it on and promptly called it "Kenny G's Whiny Christmas." It's been our joke ever since, and never played again either...Please don't call it jazz...

I knew I could count on you for being the voice of reason.....I've been busting my nut's collecting original Blue Notes and Prestige recordings.... You want to here Jazz Soprano Sax...try Coltrane on "my favorite things" ....the only thing I would do with a kenny G cd is use it for target practice!!! that being said, and I'm sorry for being harsh( my wife loves kenny G, celine dion, etc, ad nausium so it's a sore spot) I'm very glad that your girl was able to appreciate your system and understand your passion....congrats!!! jamesV
Very cool indeed, like the others have stated. [Y] My gf likes 80's music so I do have some on vinyl and gets played only when she is here. She really does like my speakers and puts up with me so it's a win, win situation.
