I recently bought a pair of 1980 La Scala industrial speakers. One of the woofers is barely making any sound. I opened up the cabinet and tested the K43 with a multimeter and got a reading of 4 ohms, and can’t see damage to the speaker. The working woofer also reads 4 ohms, and both horns can drive the working speaker. Should I just replace the woofer or is there something else I can try first to troubleshoot the woofer in question? I didn’t get to try out the speakers before buying but the previous owner confirmed they were working.   Thanks for your advice and help with troubleshooting!

I hope you do not right now!   That has me now hating the f'n whole universe right now. Yea I know God wants me to forgive.. not this time for them not forever. To all those who hate me for being me... es&d!  & that is just my two X-family members that I never-ever want to see again. (except down there)   My emotions do get to a crescendo this time of year because of the love long ago from my parents & God. Not sure if I'll be back here or not. Hearts now dust, broken more than thrice, not much left. Body's been failing this year also. Won’t Klipsch sell you a replacement Transport 100 transmitter?

I thought they were saying you could use a power amp with 250 watts and up to a power amp that is 1000watts and anything in between? I don’t care who you are either lol. But seriously I remember hearing of people using close to 1kw power amps on the 7s. So they’re only recommending you use a 250watt amp. I guess I had it wrong this whole time.
