Good evening everyone...... Decided I would change some subjects around here and bring back a bit of 'food' topic (0; Anyway, I thought I would de-rail it a bit with the hot sauce topic.... So, let's see what you'all have in your kitchens... Here is a fresh photo showing the mildest sauces I could dig up with the lowest Skovill heat rating starting to the LEFT ...6 points

A friend just invited me to see the Stones play tonight in Atlanta at 6 PM. Considering it's a 12 hour drive I don't think I'll be able to make that in time.5 points

Cool, cannot wait to stack MCMs up against EAW stacks, and will be keeping the winner(s) keep in mind will be doubling the 4ways, as in double stack(s) a little cheating on the Klipsch side of things.5 points

Good morning coffee lovers ............. Thanks for adding your hot sauce photo dtel .. I will be on the road with the boss today tuning the auditorium organ at Dartmouth College N.H. and I will post a new photo of some 'seriously' HOT sauces from my collection. These have a great flavor except one, which is more of an 'additive' used in the cooking process. More on this later today. Meanwhile, coffee will be once again from my bench coffee maker (Black and Decker 'Brew and Go') and Dunkin' Donuts DARK roast. I drink it black and add a little 'Sugar in the Raw' for a bit of sweet. Weekend coffee is simply black... Oh, here is the link to the little unit... We have TWO here at home when we are in a hurry, and I bought my dad one a long while ago which he likes 'cause the wife doesn't care for the darker roasts that he does (she makes her own) Take a look if you have a moment: http://www.blackanddeckerappliances.com/products/coffee-and-tea/coffee-and-tea-makers/brew-n-go-personal-coffee-maker-dcm18s.aspx .....more later....enjoy your morning my friends......Gary (ps. took down my deck hanging plants due to severe storm threat today!!)5 points

Need some! yea they stopped making R-22 a few years ago....I think it's R-410 now for home systems... I also got a 30lb container of R-12 for old auto's. My landlord sold me that about 10-12 years ago for $200...that stuff is like gold dust MKP :-)5 points

Well that's what happens when you come inside and read quickly, also explains why I thought 30 pounds of 22 bullets were high at $150. Nevermind, ignore the other post..........wouldn't be like the first stupid thing I have said5 points

We have had threads here where everyone tells what they do for a living, the range of different professions is about as wide as could be. But Gary you may have the most unusual of them all. Most people know little or nothing about pipe organs with most people never even hearing one, and you rebuild and work on them, that's different.4 points

You, have to remember it will be direct radiator VS folded horn, I like the sound of the folded horn but it's all personal taste, may the best speaker win, forget the names.4 points

Morning guys.... A quick hey.....cuz I just lost my wi-fi when I tryed posting what I just wrote......and I type really slow....yea that did piss me off.... I guess there could be worse things.... Working on 2nd cup then me and the wife will roll out.....gotta a few things to do at the shop today....not setting the world on fire... Some guy bought me a old Craftsman tractor to work on.....he saw that I had a Craftsman tractor in front of my shop (it's my push tractor for non running cars to get then in the shop) he said he has one just like it and it's not running and asked me if I would work on it.....sure I said......made some quick lunch money.... Check in later.....a good day to all MKP :-)4 points

Thought so, don't blame you for liking the pic, and your right the hugging drops off the older they get. Ours are all in there thirties, 6 grandkids. That's good and bad, when all the grandkids are all together it can get bad, or at least on my nerves at times.4 points

I built this stereo stand this past weekend. It is made from 1-1/2 Baltic birch and stained with black cherry. I replaced the McIntosh pre with the Sonic Euphoria passive pre and added the Lounge LCR phono stage. The laptop run JRiver20 with a 1T external drive of music. It is USB to the Music Fidelity M1DAC below it. The amps are Antique Sound Labs AQ1006 845 DT MKII.3 points

Ding! I'm so surprised that no one has jumped on this - they are normally a hot item. But of course, we're in IOWA, which is pretty dead IMO, when it comes to audio. I think it's a good deal at $300 - you see Academy's going for that, and the C7 is a step above the Academy. GLWS3 points

They're hard to come by and VERY pricy now. I think they stopped making 22. Wish I would have bought more when they were cheap in the 550 count boxes at wally world. A while back my daughter was ordering herself some ammo online and asked if I needed anything so I said some 12ga shotguns shells. I had some 3" 00 buck but wanted something light I was low on birdshot. It shows up in the mail a few weeks later, 2 cases, 12 boxes each I didn't expect that, she said they were cheap ? I don't remember the name now but at the time they had everything, except 22.3 points

Tell them you've found 10,000 people that will buy 1/10 share (and only 1/10 share) of their stock. Quarterly, Invesco will have to send out statements and prospectives to each of those 10,000 share holders that will cost more in printing and mailing costs than the share is worth.2 points

LOL! I'm not slow, I'm just deliberate. And remember "finished" is a relative term. I wanted to listen to it so I put it together but it is still raw MDF. I really do like black speakers because I want them to blend into the background and not be seen, but I would also like to try my hand at veneer. A nice flat cube gives me some options. If I really wanted it to match, the CF-4 has a black front baffle and the Oak veneer on all the other surfaces. This is the DIY kit Cheap Thrill top left, 15" Celestion woofer, 12" SEOS waveguide, DNA 360 CD. The Dayton Audio DIY Reference 15" sub is below that, with the CF-4 to the right. It's probably perspective, but the CF-4 is bigger than it looks in the picture, and the sealed sub is actually a fairly compact 20x20x20 approx size.2 points

We wanted to update everyone and let you know what we did with the collection we took up while at Rodney's for the Klipsch Employee Appreciation Days. We will make a couple of posts and attach pics. All of the signs pictured are constructed of multiple boards using red cedar and painted using Rustoleum 2X paint which makes them suitable for indoor or outdoor use. All of the signs are have wire attached to the back and are ready to be hung. The "Rodney's Place" sign and the "Pool Rules" sign are 18"x24". All of the other signs are 12"x24". All of the signs are "distressed" to make them appear aged, except the "Pool Rules" sign and the "Close the gate" sign. Those will definitely be placed outdoors and will be allowed to "weather" naturally. I talked to Brie', also known as Mangofirst here on the regular forum to get input on some of the signs. She also clarified that Rodney prefers the property to be called "Rodney's Place and wants it to be known for the fishing. He no longer does mud bogging. Some of the signs are general purpose signs that Brie' saw a need for, such as the swimming pool sign, the "NO FREELOADING ZONE" sign, the sign about stealing and the sign about picking up after yourself. The no freeloading sign was requested due to the increasing number of "freeloaders" coming and borrowing money, etc. The sign about stealing was requested because a number of items, including Rodney's grandson's gun have been stolen from the clubhouse. The sign about picking up after yourself is self explanatory. Those of you that attended know there were two entrances to Rodney's clubhouse from the highway. He has blocked off the road and everyone must now enter through the gate near his mother's home. The "Close the gate" sign will be hung by the gate to remind visitors to close the gate so Rodney's cows don't get out. The other signs were ideas that Elden and I came up with from following Rodney's Facebook page. There are also two mirrors and the frame are sand blasted etching. The PWK mirror is 20" across and the mirror with the outline of the state of Arkansas and bass is 30" across, with metal frames and are hung by rope. (the way they came) There is also an etched glass frame piece. We will be traveling to Bodcaw, AR this week to deliver these items to Rodney. The components for Rodney's system were delivered to Roy today and the speakers should be in Roy's lab tomorrow or Wednesday. Hopefully we will be able to surprise Rodney, assist with the install and get pics for everyone. I want to thank all of you for helping. We could not have accomplished this without your help! I have sent pictures to Roy and to Brie'. They are both extremely excited for Rodney! Rodney has no idea this is happening!!!! We posted here so all of you would know our plans and will be posting on the regular forum during the weekend and upon our return. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ANYWHERE, EXCEPT THIS THREAD. RODNEY DOES HAVE A FACEBOOK PAGE AND WE ARE NOT SURE IF HE VISITS OUR FORUM ANONYMOUSLY. WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP THIS A SURPRISE. Christy1 point

Keeping with the cables topic, another for Mark, and this was taken from the organ loft high above the performance stage, one of the flying arrays with all self contained amps.1 point

And you could not find the time to visit? I live here so the tourist attractions are not as exciting as they are to some, but no doubt there are plenty of things to see and do. If you are on the adventurous side and don't mind traveling off the beaten path, check out some of central Florida's numerous crystal clear fresh water springs like Blue Springs, Wekiva Springs, Rainbow River, etc., and you will be amazed at the tranquility and beauty. Enjoy your trip, Bill1 point
