  2. Good Sunday Morning gang An UNeventfull 4th, a good thing. Youngin's throughout the hood lit it up as the norm, just about anything you would see in a Wyoming fireworks store, we see every year, Mortars, skyrockets (Big ones) couple familys do the safe and sane, but they are out numbered. I should say NO direct fire dept. contact, a good thing. First cup and zero plans, good sunday.

  4. Afternoon Gang Up from more than one Nap, should start wetting down the lawn, impending skyrockets could be my undoing. id much rather watch the neighborhood performance rewinding the CCTV playback if needed. Likely end up with another cat this year, that's ok, i like cats. Found more than one in our yard after new years and the forth.

  5. Sausage gravy and biscuits with two om eggs on top at a restaurant called the Goody Goody House. Maybe not diet friendly but mighty tasty. Walked the critter and took a long bike ride. LF still away till Monday week. Jake is not losing quick enough on his diet. Wondering if grains and gluten are the problem? Googled it and found Blue Buffalo is gluten and grain free though pricey. May have to give it a try. His eyes run which could be allergy related. Learned long ago that the colored nuggets in a lot of dry food is dye which can cause significant skin/allergy problems. Well that's enough about me....how are you guys finishing off the weekend? Cheers Ladies and Gents Just realized this is not the C&C thread

  14. Well, not really a traditional belle - I intended to make it a 2 way, more or less, and decided to incorporate DJK's ported mod, .. so I shall name it BelleZilla . I've had this project thread going for a while on another forum but sometimes, I feel like it's been like a monologue. As much as I hate cross posting, I figured maybe I could contribute and learn a bit more wrt this project on this forum. The saga (starting from my initial impressions) is located at: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/subwoofers/268959-zobsky-contemplates-variation-belle-klipsch-9.html#post4379829 In any case, the bottom of this design is a belle, running an eminence kappa 15c The top, OTOH, uses the Faital Pro HF146 on a constant directivity waveguide , the excellent (albeit ugly looking and grill cloth worthy) eighteensound XT1464 . The top cab is rear ported. I'm still tuning, .. and think there's some room for improvement in the bass , so I'm all ears here. The last posts in my other thread detail my experiences with the performance of the hybrid bass horn . I haven't yet tried it in conventional sealed back chamber mode.

  15. I awoke looking at craigs on July 4th to see if I got any responses from all the speaker stuff I put up for sale to find Forte IIs in Walnut Oil. I wasn't looking for more speakers, but last summer when I finished my basement, I wired up the living room above for 7.1 surround in the event I would want to go there in the future. I currently have walnut Forte II's as my side surrounds, so I snagged them. I thought it was kind of rare to find matching Forte II's in Walnut for a good price.

  18. The only part that creeped me out were the words “HOURS LATER.” I don’t know if i could have lasted, SAN DIEGO (AP) — Jeanette and Alexander Toczko were each 8 years old when they became smitten with one another. They married in 1940 and were rarely apart in the decades since. They told their children they wished to die in each other's arms. And last month at their home in San Diego, just days before their 75th wedding anniversary, that wish was fulfilled. KGTV reports (http://bit.ly/1KpeUaq ) 95-year-old Alexander's health was failing rapidly after he broke his hip. His children put Jeanette in bed next to him. According to their daughter, Aimee Toczko-Cushman, after Alexander died, Jeanette said, "Wait for me, I'll be there soon." The family left her alone and just hours later, Jeanette died too. The couple was buried Monday at Miramar National Cemetery.

  25. Making a day trip w/wife i was more leaning toward "Her Time" you just wish to see Tims goods, find something special in the St Lou area for the rest of the day that SHE would love, you get your time, and she gets hers. The next time you wish to possibly procure an item in St Lou, unlikely she would have a problem with it. Winery tours ? plays ? just something you dont have where you live, that makes it special for both of ya. I dont do this to, bribe or convince my wife, just involve her, it works for me.

  27. yes, JimJimbo has them now. They were local to Indy from the Trader newpaper - probably got them in the 80's they had survived a house fire stacked in a closet for storage, were half blown up and smelled like a bonfire for a couple of years. CWO with pretty torn up edge banding as I recall.

  34. Kanye's artisitc strength is in the studio behind a desk, not as a live performer. Simple as that. While I agree the video gag is clever and had me smiling, there is really no compare here. Seriously. I own some Queen and some Kanye. Both very listenable depending on how the day is going.

  42. Here, the trusty Korg Triton EX with a REAL 12AU7 in use to warm up the sound where needed.. The genuine Hammond logo right where it should be....The Leslie speed control made to look and work just like the vintage 'half moon' switches (no, these are NOT cheap by any means!).....and that all controls a new, compact Leslie with the same mechanical, spinning horn and rotor with in.... Computer controlled servo motors do all the work now. This one made right here by Hammond USA ! All for now........Gary
