had mom back in the er. everything checked out, so it must be a virus. these trips are getting smoother, and the staff is getting nicer. everyone is so shocked to see mom with family that loves her and doesn't leave her. they said it is customary that families just drop them off. when someone bends over mom to do something, she always reaches up and rubs them. and they always melt. we now have home health care: nurse for vitals, bather & physical therapy. makes everything easier. everyone is surprised when they come in because we have mom SET UP. it is very validating. even my daughter is happy that they are coming to help. mom is hanging in as are we, and we have a handle on the resources and have to make fewer demands, and can now pleasantly request. i guess i have "arrived." lol have a good day. and hang in there.

Morning and happy Friday to all.... Grandkids just got on the bus......and I gotta roll..... To much shitt going.... Do I dare say that I'm "too" busy at the shop.... and with The BOSS only being there two day out of the week it's really hard. She stays up at moms and takes all the calls for the shop. Then she will tex me to call her so we can work out the schedule....or if I have to call someone. The BOSS's mom seems to be going down hill..... she has almost stopped eating and drinking. She doesn't know what food is.... it's at the point were I don't think she knows who anybody is.... Hey look....again not trying to bring anybody down....just keep sending those good vibes our way.... If we did not cancell the trip to Hope last month....we would have cancelled this week.... that's how bad it's gotten in such a short time... OK....rolling out....check in later.... MKP :-)

After 3 years the heating element on this one is starting to slow down a little. Not quite as hot as it once was. It lasted 2 years longer than the Kuerig.

A friend was cleaning out for his move and came across these that he had forgotten about. He gave them to me for previous favors I have done for him. Gotta love karma.

I have had many Bunn's. Once you start using them it's hard to buy anything else. Tip: Only Bunn filters work. They are bigger, and normal filters overflow and grinds get in your coffee.

There's basically a Bunn velocity brew with a normal pot or with a carafe, take your pick based on what you want and you will not regret the move.

Good morning, Started the day by breaking the carafe to our vintage Joe D model Mr. Coffee. Time to get Bunns in gear and replace it. Thinking Bunn. Several days ago there were discussions of various Bunn models. When was that?

Missouri Bar These folks had it down to where when they pulled a San Miguel out of the cooler, and popped the top, the very, very slightest of ice crystals would form in the neck, and it was absolutely sublime...they were consistent for at least the two years when I visited off and on, and I don't know how they did it....magic.

I don't shoot any tequila, it always starts out for the pleasurable taste which I have found, doesn't have a lot to do with the price. I think Cuervo Black is very smooth and enjoy it too. My problem is that it doesn't matter if it's water, beer, whisky, or tequila, it's the volume that is the problem.

In the past I did drink beer so I have no idea why this happens. I do like tequila shots, but for sipping i usually drink American Honey, switched from Crown after Carl introduced me to the Honey. Thanks Carl But except for gin I like it all as long as it taste good.

Well were leaving this evening for N Louisiana, son-in-law's graduation in the AM. Then it's 2-3 hours North into Arkansas, going to see if any help is needed to be ready for next weekend, I know they will be plenty to do to get ready for everyone. If I don't get back here, that's the excuse.

On my 3rd Warsteiner...Starting tomorrow I get to baby sit my daughters guinea pig "Taco is his name" LOL...I have to be at her place tomorrow at 4:00pm to give Taco spinach....LOL...and repeat this on Sunday at 8:00am and again at 4:00pm.... I'm a Grandpa to a guinea pig....

I saw your post and checked Target.com. They don't have what I wanted. Everything was more expensive and no Sunday delivery.

Pulled the trigger on Bunn A10 from Amazon with delivery Sunday. Fortunately, we can tough it out with the pour-over system our older son gave us. We're too lazy and impatient to use it daily, plus it makes only 2 real cups at a time, but we can make do until Sunday. It does brew tasty coffee.

Here's my front set up. Yes, those are RP-280Fs with Atmos up speakers on the side. RP-450c in middle. I had the space in my loft to have put in a 175" projector screen, so the speakers look tiny in comparison. Moving RP-250s' to side soon. Need to get back speakers but debating RP-280F's or RP-180M's in back since have bookcase in back would hold them at ear level and feel that the floors might be mostly pointing at back of couch, which seems wasteful (front are 14' to couch, back would only be 4' on floor, 5' in bookcase) Jay

I just hung up with a friend that was with a large group of people that went to Aruba a couple of years ago and he called to tell me that he and his wife just got back and they tried some tequila that he and I wanted to try when we were there before. It was Gran Patron Burdeos Anejo and the shots were $90 a pop but he said that I should absolutely try it the next time we go because it was amazing. At $500 a bottle, I guess it should be.

The beams were just structural and had nothing on them and one day i got bored and took down the boards and did that. All we were looking for at first was a place to sit in the shade out in the garden with a couple ceiling fans, it just turned into that after a granddaughter got the tiki idea. I didn't like the bright silver metal inside the roof so i stuck some bamboo I trimmed up there, the bar is fake bamboo made from 2" PVC. We started collecting things and friends and relatives gave us other things that just got hung up. It started like this, one section to see if I liked it.
