  1. Many may have seen that our Forum Friend and Brother @Rudy81 apparently has Covid-19 and has been moved to a hospital. A forum member @Chris A suggested (see below) that some audio posts and well wishes might do Rudy some good so I have featured and pinned this thread to make it easy to see. Great idea Chris. "Instead of harping on with morbid COVID-19 stories, let's keep Rudy entertained with good audio stuff on the forum--don't you think? I think he'll respond better to that. I know I would. It can help to lift the spirits. Prayers to Rudy and his family for a speedy recovery." Chris

  6. somehow, I'm don't have all the photos on this laptop as I do on my other laptop, but here is one that I like. This was onstage before a HEART concert. I do have photos backstage of Nancy Wilson's guitars, but that must be on the other computer.

  11. Hi @MicroMara & guys, I am passionate about experimental and independent music, in the 70s and 80s I bought vinyls of numbers independent labels : Rough Trade, Cramed Discs, Factory Records, New Rose, Celluloïd, 4AD, Industrial Records, ... So among all these records I really like German artists and I have records of fantastic music and great qualities: CAN, Faust, Amon Düül II, D.A.F. (Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft), Neu!, Einstürzende Neubauten, Embryo, Holger Czukay, Xmal Deutschland, .... and others that I did not buy at the time and that I would like to buy soon, including Kraftwerk albums ! note: I also have a lot of classical music from German composers and conductors, but this time on CD not vinyl. Your country is a great country of musicians.

  12. In Europe we heard the same early on: it 's just a flu.... Well it is not: no-one has antibodies, there is no vaccine, there is no cure. When you get it, your survival depends on your general health, your luck and if ventilators and medical personnel are available to help you breathe. Some politicians spread disinformation because the want to save the economy rather than people....

  18. I was hoping that my math was still good after forty five years with nary a use. Thought .380 with a k would be a good way to say "Shake it All Over!" My sub can only go down to 18Khz * Well look what happens when you're exhausted and you go places you shouldn't. I'll leave the erroneous stuff up `cause it's not like you didn't see it. Six hours of sleep sure feels beneficial to have had right now!

  21. Yes, but the man in the crowd is a very special appearance and has a special charisma. But it is certainly not because of your Avatar of Edvard Much " The Scream ". If you own the original painting I have no more questions anyway

  24. I've been working on our garden the past week or two, still very much in its infancy. I have 12 beds in the final design, 4ftx28ft with 1ft walkways in between. there's cantaloupe in the bed currently, tomatoes and bell peppers on the side in buckets. Eventually there will be okra and carrots and greens and lions and Tigers and bears. We'll also be doing potato towers, fig trees, berries, etc. Today I started the initial irrigation lines from the barn in the background. We're down to two piglets. Two suffered from pneumonia with all the rain and temperature swings we've been having. One goat is about to kid. We've got some fresh chicks and ducklings, with another 10 eggs in the incubator. Oh and egg production has skyrocketed with the warmer days and longer daylight hours. Nothing really new on the audio front, but the whole family is most certainly enjoying the new setup.

  33. It is a nice photo, it's not everyday you can get a chance to do that, well normal people anyway. I saved that pic when you posted it because I liked it, it's not often you see a band relaxed for a casual pic, plus your in it. Plus you had a cool hat on, you look like you belong. Steve is the guy you normally do not see in any other Yes pics, well as far as I know.

  36. Wish I had mushrooms, cooked some eggs this am with some chopped up jalapenos mixed in, mushrooms in it would have been better. Nothing wrong with that, sounds good, wife and grandson decided to have stir-fry tonight, some smoked chicken from the other day chopped and some of those frozen stir fry vegetables. That's what happens when they see a couple bags of those vegetables in the freezer, make it up as you go along is what were having. .

  37. Why thank you. There are many here like that. Anyone that's been here knows I am not all that. You are fast yourself. I tend to go in spurts. There is a old short story you brought to mind. The man of the crowd. Cheers!

  38. We're listening to this right now, waiting a long hour until the italian chicken is done baking--in multichannel surround 5.1. It's really spectacular, especially reclining in my zero-G chair. Perhaps you should plan on listening sometime, Rudy--after all the present activities go back to normal...and we have TT paper again. Chris
