  1. Got the rear tire mounted also. They’re a little dirty but the red should pop more after I clean them up.
  2. Added some color to my Cannondale Lefty today.
  3. I can say from experience that a horn sub provides an experience that is unlike any other sub that I've ever heard or felt. Pretty awesome that Klipsch is adding them to their lineup!
  4. If you click on the OP's profile you'll see that they haven't been on the forum in over two years.
  5. So you’d be a proponent of a setup with Khorn mains and a KV-2 center as someone on here had?
  6. Might be possible that the midrange gaskets are old and brittle enough that they’re the culprit.
  7. Too high of an input voltage for the speakers. I would try turning the computer volume down to 75 and see if that works better. You’ll just have to experiment a bit.
  8. They’re probably getting too hot of a signal from the computer. Turn the output level down in the computer.
  9. They’ll work perfect. They’re easily worth three times that price.
  10. There aren’t really any techs who are on the forum. Also, there’s a separate forum section farther down the page for subwoofer questions. If you read the sticky at the top of this section you’ll see it’s for people who are having technical issues with the Klipsch forum or website.
  11. Yes. I’ve seen a lot of them pop up over the years.
  12. As was stated, they’re from 1987 not 1979. They are a standard walnut oil finish.
  13. This thread is almost old enough to legally drink.
  14. Try using bare wire instead of the banana plugs. They offer the best signal path anyway.
  15. Your speakers have their own phono input. There’s no need to use a separate receiver.
  16. Welcome back! It’s Glen, right? Glad you’re enjoying your new sub!
  17. Are you sure the jumpers are making full contact? What happens if you remove them and connect speaker wire only to the tweeter inputs?
  18. You should toe the RF-7s in toward you. That will help reduce sound reflecting from the side walls. For your subwoofer, you’ll have to experiment with it in different places in your room or download Room EQ Wizard (REW) and use it to find the best location based on the dimensions of your room.
  19. Marantz and Klipsch play very well together.
  20. If he feels the bass from the 15” woofers in a Chorus is lacking, going to a speaker with smaller woofers is not going to solve the issue. Speaker placement, seating placement, etc will provide better results than different speakers will.
  21. I’m just curious if you’ll notice any difference in how it sounds after you replace the capacitor…
  22. My Sony does this. Not all the time, though. Sometimes I notice it, sometimes I don’t. It’s certainly not loud enough that I’m worried about anything getting damaged.
  23. That’s a steal! If you don’t buy them I will!!
