  3. Sorry to be so slow to get back with you on this timely subject. First let me say you Moderators feel free as always to move this thread to Lounge or Classified as you see fit. Dont mean to highjack it - My dad was deeply into this gear & had several different "Anti-Microvision Devices" thru the years, I believe he said the Terrapin was the best. Here are some photos- of just some of the VCR's & such. Many still new in the box- High Speed Mitsubishi. Any one interested just shoot me a PM.
  4. I believe that Gator food on the branch is a Night Heron.
  5. My Dad was an extreme collector & repairer of VHS tape machines. I have several very high quality machines & tapes I will sell for cheap, just shoot me a pm. Yes they can be converted to digital, my dad was using a machine called a Terrapin, I have it for sell as well. There are several businesses that will do that transfer service for you at a price . 6. Larry, you might wont to look at the Yamamotto sockets made of Teflon, with two different models one with beryllium sockets & the other with silver. I used these after my Bat cracked one of the porcelain sockets. The only thing -is to watch out for space, the Teflon's are thicker. But if your not really having a problem you can identify associated with the sockets, personally I would let it be. The pins may not feel as tight as smaller tubes but the larger contact surface of those larger pins will make up the difference, "I suspect." Cornman
  7. You guys are incredible, like family with your understanding & encouragement DWILAWYER (Travis) phoned this morning & said he was coming to the service Sat. Like many of you I have never met him in person before, how cool is that, Brothers in Music is all I can think of to call it. Yall or the best, have a Beautiful Day... Joe
  8. "Others mileage may vary, but I hold these truths to be self - evident ." Never heard it said better, Thank you Mr. Dave. Joe
  9. My Brother's in Music, I can not thank you enough for your caring & support in these dark days, it truly warms my heart. My computer went down last night, or else I would have thanked you sooner. My wife ( the love of my life) was only 56, I am 70, I watched in horror year after year seeing her living in terrible pain that only increased xpotentialy each month .I love our country, it is one of the best in the world & I served in the Army offering up my life in it's defense; but I feel betrayed by our govertment controled medical system in our country . I think it is wrong & totally unethical to restrict the amount of pain meds for a terminal patient, so what if there are addicted -- There dying! Her doctor did his best & gave her the maximunm limit of pills allowed by the govt. per month & told her he thougt Marijuana was good for her it helped her sleep & eat (without it she could not eat or sleep) But the Govt. requires a monthly drug screen (pee test) if pot is in your system the doc's are forbidden by law to prescribe you any pain meds! This is all wrong the physician are the medical experts not our govt! I know many of you hear have lost loved ones as well, & I can see from your comments you understand & know the pain of loss. Thank you all again for your compasionate support. It's good to have Brothers & sisters. Photo of my wife Pat & her buddie Sampson, Taken in 2012 before the changes got so bad.
  10. I have been debating weather to post this or not, but in the end this forum has been like family to me, even though I hvae only met a few of you in person. My wife of 27 years passed away this Friday night, so I am still dealing with the horror of this night mare, just as I am sure many of you have experienced as well. So I ask of all of you to hug tightly all those dear to each of you TODAY & tell them how very much you love them.. Peace, Cornman aka Joe

  18. I am also using the K2 on the Jubs. Did not know they were available in red, is that a custom paint job ? Your wormhole experiments description gives me goose bumps knowing the potential of these K2's . Cornman
  19. Knowing of the "no driverless purchase of horn" rule that has been around for a while now, I just assumed that Cornman was able to pull it off because he bought the bass bins with the 12" drivers too. I don't know if they are a drop-in replacement; however, I wouldn't mind a pair of horns with a good case of the mumps. Wow, I had no ideal my purchase was anything out of the norm. On deciding to purchase the Jub's & K402's I had already made up my mind I wanted to start out with the Tad drivers, even though I had not heard them but based on the reviews from this forum I knew that was what I wanted. Luckily that very week Coytee had a pair of the Tads on the garage . Lucky me Cornman
  20. I have also purchased from Joe before & can tell you for sure he is a stand up guy. So sorry to hear of your abuse Joe, best wishes. I hope someone can find a way to help you.

    - canceled

I have received several Pm's wishing me well during this difficult time, I THANK YOU . I am glad now that no one jumped on these, for it was to much a hasty & emotional driven decision . If my wife passes soon the Jubs & good music will be more needed then ever before. I hope you will all forgive me if I cancel this sale for now, at least until I better think this out & see what develops. . Coyee said -"I apologize if my edit (regarding melodic voice of your wife) was out of bounds. Obviously I know nothing of what might be going on." No problem at all Coytee, I always enjoy your humor, it saves a lot of us here from running off the tracks... Latter my friends.
