as I've said in a couple of other threads, a man was moving in D.C. and had to unload his chorus II's before he could move.....FOR FREE! called him right away and he said come and get them, even though he was offered cash, he said I was the first to respond, so they are mine! took out my passenger front seat, and my back seat, and they fit ok! I also took along some beer to give him....my dad always told me "never go to anyone's houses empty handed!" they did require some work....one woofer was bad, replaced both, the cabinet needed some filling sanding and painting, bob upgraded the x/overs, and I installed 15" grilles on the passive subs for protection. got 'em hooked up in my LR powered by a pr of Marantz ma500 amps, and a 600 pre amp. sound and look great!

I too wish these were closer. the wife is very happy where they are......she likes our cw's and chorus II's, but doesn't like lascalas.

I used rustoleum satin canyon black on my chorus II's....worked just fine.

one of my sons had an acer laptop. terrible computer, but a great skillet. it would get so hot you couldn't even touch it!

saw yes most recently a few years back with dream theater as the headliner. wow! all their years together really showed, very tight! jon andersen's voice was fantastic, he must really take care of his vocal chords. though my son and i were there to see dream theater, we came away from the show VERY impressed with yes' performance. they put on a great show.

martin barre was/is a very good guitar player. jethro tull's best....IMO!

sounds like perfect candidates to do a lil experimenting!
