    What I Got Today!

What is it? Looks very nice @Shakeydeal
  3. Broiled wild caught salmon..last night as a matter of fact....tasty...none of that farm raised sheet PLEASE.
  4. Such a deal for someone...GLWYS. Beautiful BTW, High WAF
  5. So your Jubes are 2 way with a Xilica 4080? If so use the Xilica to do all the crossover and PEQ to the sub. That should make it transparent and easy to swap input preamps except for level.
  6. I think @wuzzzer is in your neck o' the woods, he's got some horn subs that'll rock your world.
  7. Because SURPRISE they're reasonably priced...OR F I can't afford that.
  8. Thank you for your service to our nation. You guys did not get treated right upon your return.
  9. psychoacoustically speaking.
  10. @Woofers and Tweeters Ok I think I enjoyed D And D more...mostly cuz my better half would not sit through WW.
  11. Yes it's like a tuning coil in an ANCIENT radio. Depending on how tight or loose it is screwed into the wood plate below changes the tweeter filter(Oops I meant balance) network...... here comes the . That's the BS button for those who didn't know. PWK used to flash it when stuff like this came about.
  12. How young(or old) are you? Just goofing on you, never seen Wayne's World?
  13. Yes the 'speaker codes' thread here on the Forum says the 17 on mine just means black grill cloth not necessarily full front grill. So I wonder how they kept track. I mean which speakers got full grills, which got grills just over the mid/tweeter like yours and which got no grills. Yours are LaScala Birch Raw
  14. Or just the complete model# Mine came with full front grills installed at the factory. (ignore the add on horns on top) My tags are illegible but originally they said LSB-17 or some such denoting the full front grills.
  15. @MicroMara if you are 100% sure your schematic of the RF7-II crossover is correct put it in the Klipsch crossover section of the Forum. @Travis In Austin let him add to the locked thread please.
  16. BTW...also I think those grill assemblies were installed at the factory. Are the tags still intact/legible?
  17. Yes so move the tweeter or crossover to verify the suspect crossover is OK or not...just a suggestion while you await a new diaphragm for the blown tweeter. BTW EVERYONE has blown a K77 tweeter, if not they haven't lived
  18. Yep, here it is from the manual: PLACEMENT Your Klipsch Heresy loudspeakers will perform well in a variety of locations but best results will be achieved using the following general guidelines: • Place on a common wall 6 to 15 feet apart. • Position them equidistant from the wall behind the speakers. • Leave at least 12” between the wall and the back of the speaker.
  19. I don't know the specific placement details but the Heresy now( Heresy IV ) have a rear port. I would think they need to be out from the wall some also just like the Chorus.
