  1. Coytee had posted these woofer cabs available for free a few times in the past, and I always wish I lived within reasonable driving distance to get them, but I am pleased to see that they have found a good home. The pictures look really good.
  2. How does a self driving car respond to rain and snow falling on its cameras and laser lenses?
  3. I bought a 500 foot roll of 12 ga. for my home theater and it was not enough, but I did not actually measure the length as I spooled it out, so maybe the label was bogus?
  4. The silver colored wire in your early year Klipsch speakers is high quality tinned copper wire (as mentioned above) and should remain good for a very long time.
  5. I will have to remove the bottom panel to look again, that may not happen today.
  6. When I bought the Marantz pre-pro from you last year, it was delivered in perfect condition, as good as new.
  7. Tell her you want to replace them with Klipschorns or Jubilees.
  8. Nice surround speakers there. What are the front speakers for that home theater?
  9. The East Indian Rosewood is very good looking. Forum member @MetropolisLakeOutfitters should be able to help you.
  10. Interesting. Any resonance issues with stacking? Also, what's the veneer finish on those H's? looks unique. Musically, the frequency response blends seamlessly. If your question is about the cabinet sitting on top, The cabinets are solidly built and have enough mass. It is recommended to place a layer of non-slip material between them, such as a thin layer of foam, but not the common kitchen drawer liner that will stick to the speaker's finish. The veneer is Lacewood.
  11. Here are some pictures of a clearly labeled K-43. The frame looks different than all my K-33s.
  12. Here is a link to a thread with a picture of my free-standing corners that allow K-horns to be placed almost anywhere in the room.
  13. You've had these for thirty five years and they still look like new. I think you should keep them and share your thoughts with the Klipsch community.
  14. Thanks for sharing your listening impressions of the different equipment combinations.
  15. The Lacewood veneer looks great with halogen lighting.
  16. Emile, The horn brackets you sent me are exactly what my next project needed. Thanks, Khornukopia
  17. I cut a strip of veneer and wipe a variety of stains and tung oil, boiled linseed oil, Watco, Libron, etc. Label the back side and when you pick a winner, make a larger sample.
  18. If you give it some serious thought, she was right the first time, and she is right again, even after changing her mind.
  19. My room is not rectangular, it has a few angles.
  20. Why not, if the suggestion is the middle of the wall and four feet above the floor.
  21. I am guessing your La Scalas may be newer than 1980. How did you determine that year. Also, if you unscrew the crossover board and lift it up, you should be able to read the label.
  22. So placing my subwoofers on top of some Cornwalls or similar size stands, at the middle of the four walls is the recommended positioning?
