@Westcoastdrums - why do you trash your listing when sold? Listing history is helpful documentation for the whole community. . .
  2. @svberger - congrats! I'd love to find some nice cornwalls like that!
  3. @Ruben abell if they have screws on the back, then they are cornwall 1s. As @dtr20 said, there should be a letter in the serial number - it should be on the paper label (where you probably saw it) and stamped into the top edge of the back. One place may be easier to read than the other.
  4. I think the 300 integrated would be more than enough. It's also $1k cheaper and puts off much less heat.
  5. it is true that i couldn't find any diaphram info on the crites website. i also couldn't say what jim and jem has. can't hurt to give them a call -- they both tend to provide good advice.
  6. as mentioned above, critesspeakers.com is a long time, respected supplier of parts. also jemperformanceaudio.com is a supplier of official klipsch parts.
  7. . . . removed due to incorrect information . . .
  8. wow, congrats! that's one beautiful amp.
  9. nice! wish i had something like that close to me.
  10. @jfjacques -- just go to a glass shop (the kind that does shower doors, etc.) and get them to cut some for you. won't cost much at all.
  11. Luxman SQ-N150 integrated. . . . What he said. . .
  12. My recordings of So What have the same thing -- it's the recording, not your system.
  13. I'd enjoy them as they are and decide on updates later after you get to know them. I've got some 1975 Heresys with the same tweeter and mid-range - they sound wonderful (only the caps have been replaced). I love the idea of upgrading electronics first. I was told that either diaphragms work or they don't - the Ti diaphragms will certainly change the sound.
  14. Note the jumpers on the back. When you remove the jumpers, you are removing the amp portion. The pre out will variable out, not straight line out. The pre out will send whatever is selected as the input including the phono section.
  15. @Oicu812 gave you some very good benchmarks. Just as an FYI -- the serial number indicates that they were made in 1988, not 1985. Best of luck!
  16. that's a great price for a new a23+ -- is it new, used, or b-stock?
  17. @Amphicar if you got some quartets for $100, you made a TREMENDOUS find!
  18. not "chubby" enough for heresys -- definitely cornwalls. too bad i'm 1500+ miles away . . . .
  19. Those were quite the deal . . .
  20. Great find. I also found them on Mouser: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Cinch-Connectivity-Solutions/2-142?qs=sGAEpiMZZMvxX9Q80wbhCY7PDSsIdogJ
  21. For those of you that may have missed the new Jubilees at the open house at Audio Video Therapy in Nashua, NH -- they will continue to be on display (and demo) there for the next couple of weeks. I auditioned them and found the soundstage to be quite impressive (not to mention the dynamics).
  22. Also new Klipsch owner! Was able to find some beautiful 1975 Heresys with oiled walnut finish. All original drivers (alnico K-77 tweeters, K-55-V mids, alnico K-22 woofers). Caps were updated, but will probably replace them with some better ones. Quite happy.
  23. I spoke with John at Audio Video Therapy in Nashua, NH about the Jubilees. John said they're going to have the Jubilees in the store (and available for demos) for at least the next couple of weeks. So if you can stop by, it's worth giving them a listen!
