Has anyone tried any of these?

I saw Joe Perry on a local TV show last Saturday where his products were being shown.

Take a look and see if it appeals to you... I've ordered four bottles...

it will make a guitar player out of you.

How about a millionaire guitar player?

While not my cooking, I'm off to sample the following:

Creative Growers Heirloom Tomato Salad

Venison Tartare

Fried Rabbit w/ potatoes & carrots over corn purée

Boar Burger w/ tomato-bacon jam

Grilled Sturgeon w/ late harvest hash

Elk Terrine w/ pickled vegetables

Boy, howdy!

Some very interesting fare.... Enjoy....

For anyone wondering what Hasenpheffer is....

Hasenpfeffer
  • Hasenpfeffer is a traditional German stew made from marinated rabbit or hare, cut into stewing-meat sized pieces and braised with onions and a marinade made from wine and vinegar. Hase is German for 'hare' and Pfeffer is German for pepper,' although here it refers generically to the spices and seasonings in the dish overall, as with the German ginger cookies called pfeffernüsse. Seasonings typically include fresh cracked black pepper or whole peppercorns, and the following: salt, onions, garlic, lemon, sage, thyme, rosemary, allspice, juniper berries, cloves, and/or bay leaf.

Boxx--since you're the only one willing to play along...it was from a Bugs Bunny cartoon where Yosemite Sam was the cook for the king, and the king kept demanding hasenpfeffer.

I was thinking about it during the day, but "Sam" never came to mind.....

My best guess was Elmer Fudd. I agree with Sam, though, hasenpfeffer is great!!

Hey there Boxx........ I just found this in the pantry, are you familiar with it since it comes from your state ??

Just opened it, and I can tell you, for the non experienced tongue with really hot sauces, this would be extremely spicey!imagejpg1-39.jpg

Hey Gary, Yes I've enjoyed this fine sauce... It can be a bit spicy, however I like it that way.... Enjoy!
