I speculate that a metal grill without holes would not be a positive.

Chinese: I go to a buffet occasionally at lunch. Like all buffets they win on cost as one plate is it.

Mexican: beef enchiladas at the diner and tacos at the golf 

course or home. I really like tamales but only from certain sources

I would think mostly to keep dummies from ruining it, so probably #1.

 

Almost anything exposed to the public is usually made almost indestructible, as much as possible.

Two or three cuts thru the bologna prior to frying? I do three.

Neither, both are OK.

How do you stay thin, can't be from MW and bread and smoked meats.

 

But I would guess you have been kind of thin all of your life, you don't look like you ever had a problem with being overweight ?

WORK and it ain’t at a gym.

 

1973 entered boot camp at 5’4 and 118

Exited boot camp at 6’ and 165; yep those uniforms needed renewed. You will likely think this is false, it’s not.

 

Maintained 6’ to 6’2” at 165 for many years.

 

Balloned to 215 while shrinking to 6’  and now back to 168.

No, not the "pairing" of mayo and meats, that's a whole different group of people.

I like getting fresh sliced deli ham and turkey, along with a 1/2 lb of chicken salad just about every trip... I never thought about tipping, I just watch 'em weigh it out, the grocery store employee's there always remind me of the school cafeteria line... I seem inclined to shop around, I mean, I wouldn't be opposed to hooters opening a deli take out line...

I wouldn't tip who cuts the meat or works the deli, or the guy who stocked the bread.

 

At one point long ago we had a little corner store that had a deli, it's hard to control yourself with all the different meats and cheese, sometimes I didn't.
