I showed my birth cert at the MVD, yesterday. They didn't believe it, either.

....actually

I took the fancy, framed on the wall hospital cert..   They wanted the one registered with county recorder...

it's here somewhere. I know. But when you move between times that you need it.

There are lots of things I'm still looking for.

Sir grasshopper!

any of you remember how you felt the first time you were addressed as "Sir" as a sign of respect?

I do. It was like a very polite gut kick. The first time I realized I was getting old/er.... than teenage. I was about 40

Most of us are proactive and put on at least 5 pounds per year to keep the wrinkle out and keep us looking young(ish)

You obviously did not get that memo.

I won't believe it until I see the birth certificate.  And then I still won't believe it.

But if we saw a recent picture with you being sick we may have to look at the certificate again for the opposite reason, 65 you're making me feel younger but I still look like crap.

Happy Birthday, a birthday pic will be needed, sarong closed please.

the only "fat photos" of me are at 4 years old

Nobody mentioned "fat"! Just no sharp edges.

I checked my list of challenges and "horizontally" is not on there.

Started on a bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain which is a very generous gift from a friend.  Low acidity makes for an extremely smooth brew.  The flavor is mild, almost like it is in a class of its own.

I like a Bunn ... really prefer a nice pair of them. Good legs are cool, too

Sorry, too easy

A Bunn will be my next coffee machine

Always wanted to try some BlueMountain. From your description, sounds like Lappert's Kona. Almost chocolatey

Having coffee and a cocktail... cranberry to chase my hamburger for breakfast.

Wife asked me what I wanted for dinner today, last night .....  Had to think, because I don't really want anything special... so, my response was "Spaghetti".  That threw her for a loop. So, I helped her. She watched while I threw it together. Simmered it for a few hours and packed it to the fridge overnight. Back on the stove now.

No. I didn't sleep in. Up at my regular time, 4AM.

No b'day pic, yet. Imagine Aqualung, only skinny

Spose I better uncover the garden. Should be ripe in April.

Yeah I'm pretty much a bunn man too.

Happy Birthday WillyBob @grasshopper

Bunns are nice coffee makers, be aware that they run all the time keeping the water in the tank hot.... that's how they make it so fast first thing in the morning.

Had a giant kitchen-aids  proline rookie line tank of a machine that regurgitated grinds and made coffee on the counter three different times. Once my uncle was here and flipped out with the mess one morning. I had to get him out to the airport by convincing him that he didn't do anything at all, it was on the timer.

} And speaking of brewing equipment and the second topic listed of the thread, who uses the pour over method -

(that’s Pour Over, Carl, not comb over) 👨‍🦲
