CECAA850
I'm proudly in the group of people who did not lose any money on the Power Ball.
CECAA850
How about this all you ticket buyers? Send me your money. I'll give you a one in 292 million chance that I'll send you a billion dollars back. That's the same odds of flipping a coin and getting heads 28 times in a row which is how I'll determine if you won or not.
Fjd
Now that power ball fever has passed momentarily, has anyone here ever have a “breakfast-type” meal for “dinner?” I was making ham and cheese omelets after school back in the 1960’s so I know that McDonald’s didn’t invent the all-day breakfast concept this past October when they rolled out the concept for the restaurants (and neither did I). However, since then I did notice that McDonald’s shares are up 13.6% over these past three months. It seems that a 2014 National Restaurant Association survey, seven out of ten people said they would like restaurants to serve all-day breakfast. . The Dude
My mom used to back in the day. As a parent I do, but manly cause no one can decide on dinner ideas and its an easy one. Yup French toast, eggs, hash browns, sausage or bacon, and of coarse coffee. My son will say, "dad you can't drink coffee for dinner" then I will say but its breakfast. Its funny how folks love breakfast through out the day. But how many people actually eat breakfast in the morning with in an hour after they wake up?
akdave
Ditto on breakfast for dinner! Greetings all! Happy post powerball day! Alaska is one of six states apparently that don't participate, so I was not in that number of donors either. The stats on that thing were mind bending pulling in $8m/min for a while yesterday?! Wow! Just ran some numbers: If we had a $1.5B powerball applied directly to the $18.6T national debt EVERY DAY (without the debt accruing any interest), it would take a mere 12,400 days or just under 34 YEARS to be back in the green. Good times. Happy Hump Day!
Moderators dtel Posted January 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 14, 2016 has anyone here ever have a “breakfast-type” meal for “dinner?” Yes and they loved it, but to tell the truth It is more of a mess to cook than the average dinner, but worth it.
Moderators dtel Posted January 14, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 14, 2016 So we donated 2 weeks in a row to the lottery, I think that's a record for us. Like Ron White said, if I win you won't see my fat @ss anymore.

Ceptorman
I'm glad it's Friday also. My wife had me install hardwood flooring in the girls' bathroom, it looked so good now she wants it down the hallway Strange weather we are having. Tuesday the low was 0, then a big warm up. Yesterday it hit 50! Right now it's 45, but supposed to drop for two days down to 0 on Sunday, and a little rain/snow. It's a chore scheduling for my job, I work mostly outside. Have a great day everybody….hope your weather cooperates.
