Ceptorman
An employee of mine smokes and rolls his own, because of the cost of new cigs. Man they sure small nasty, even after they're put out they still stink. He only smokes outside and when I'm not too close to him.

Daan
A old colleque of mine used to accept every cigarette he was offered, brake it and throw it in the bin. When asked about this strange behaviour he replied; "you find pleasure in smoking one, I find pleasure in destroying one". He was a bit of a typical guy, but honest....
tube fanatic
...."you cover up the truth with lies, what's bad is good, what's good is bad This clip from the Woody Allen movie Sleeper says it all: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFJopF6WJNw Actually, recent studies on saturated fats are showing that they are really not harmful to our health after all! Who knows, maybe it will be demonstrated that tobacco contains some health promoting substances after all. Maynard
Sancho Panza
Doctor asked me if I smoked. I said, "Only when I'm on fire." Doctor asks me if I want to join a smoking cessation program? I ask and die of stress?
oscarsear
Well what's not so funny is this exact same marketing logic is being undertaken this very day with electronic cigarettes. There are no studies done which prove that long term daily use of ecigs is safe or healthy. The industry avoids proclaiming them 'healthy' with great deft. And when you buy the things you sign away all your rights to hold the manufacturers or retailers liable for any consequences. Ecigs are just as addictive, are not good tobacco quitting devices and may not be any healthier at all. In 10 years time we'll could well start up with some gummy lung syndrome directly related to Ecigs. Your lungs are 99% water. The tissues are seriously like a sponge of soap bubbles. They're durable but delicate........ and they scar and erode and degrade the same as the skin on your body. Lungs are for clean air - your gut is for everything else. Put stuff into your lungs that they do need or like and they will respond poorly. Take care of them - life is not much fun when they do not work properly. Back to tobacco............ look up the incidence of lung cancer in women. Lung cancer overtook breast cancer as the top cancer killer of ladies many years ago. The frequency of occurrence perfectly tracks the 'liberation' of women starting heavily in the roaring 20's. 'You've come a long ways baby', now you die at the same rate as men because you got duped in tobacco too! Really - the stuff is horribly addictive - keep yourself and anyone you know away from any nicotine product - it is just not needed.
