Moderators dtel Posted September 26, 2014 Moderators Share Posted September 26, 2014 Did electrical work and climbed towers, about 110 meters was the highest, and that's 650 meters, no thanks ! And I had a safety harness on, I would need a diaper for that height.

mustang guy
I thought they were gonna base jump. I guess those were plain old backpacks. Pretty insane.

tigerwoodKhorns
I thought they were gonna base jump. I guess those were plain old backpacks. Pretty insane. Me too. When he was on the railing, that is scary. I use to bungy jump a lot here in town and the difference between jumping from a platform and clibming on the railing where you are wobbly is night and day. Yikes. I saw this one years ago: This one reminds me of the old road runner cartoons: Edited September 27, 2014 by tigerwoodKhorns
BigStewMan
That was sick! I’m not afraid of heights; but, i am afraid of falling from high places. it’s not the fall that kills you…it’s the sudden stop. Dr Morbius
Got vertigo watching that, and I don't mean Kim Novak. What if, at the end when he hi-fived him and missed and went over the edge - that side walk would not be a pretty sight.
tigerwoodKhorns
I don't do any ladder climbs anymore..... Wow, how many things are beign done wrong here? 1. Cutting down a tree, always cut a wedge in one side then cut from the other side to control the fall. 2. Never use a chainsaw on a ladder 3. Never cut with a chainsaw above your head. This could have been pretty grusome.
MORE KLIPSCH PLEASE
I want no parts of that. I don't like to climb, but I like to fly..... When I was in the Army I was a crew chief on a helicopter and loved flying in them. One weekend a bunch of us went rock climbing, I got up about 1/4 way I could not do any more. I climbed back down and drank beer, and waited for my friends. They didn't ragg me to bad :-)

This could have been pretty grusome. If he had put a face on it before cutting the back side it would have fell away from him. However it would not be nearly as much fun to watch. joessportster
closer inspection they actually had a rope tied to the tree pulling it away, I had a couple trees removed by pro's and they cut much shorter logs till they were standing on the ground huge learning experience watching those guys work the only time the cut the wedge was when they cut the last piece of the log about 20 feet in length
