Dave1291 Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Ginger Baker? Back in the day that's all you heard... "The best drummer on the planet." Seriously? Here's WHY so many loved his work. So lock it in and check him out. "Toad" was his favorite song and he's back in his element on this one. May 2005 from the gang @ the RAH in London. Ginger always said "it's an exercise in time travel" and this video is truly amazing. Enjoy! Need a lil sunshine now? Same show. Hard to believe they hadn't played together in 40 years and this was the culmination of "Cream." One great show for sure! Why not? 😎 Damn Skippy sooooo good! 1 3 Quote
oldtimer Posted May 6, 2021 Posted May 6, 2021 Baker put on a great display, but my money is still on Billy Cobham for best drummer on the planet. 3 1 Quote
wvu80 Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Not really a music vid but play this loud. The LF impacts as the Dark Troopers pound on the metal door are incredible. A note on the video content: This is the Luke Skywalker we've all wanted to see in the last three Star Wars movies but never got to. Disney took the galaxy's greatest hero, greatest optimist and turned him into a sniveling teet sucking green milk drinking "get off my lawn" old geezer. THIS is the Luke Skywalker who is the most powerful Jedi of all time! 5 Quote

When I heard these words spoken, the song came to my mind immediately. These were from much further back than that. From a King James version. 1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. 1 Quote
