lynnm
[] I haven't been feeling well for quite a while. Today, my doctor came to the house and informed me that I have cancer and that the results of the CT scan I had on Thursday indicate that it has metastacised from my pancreas to my liver and one lung. I'll be knocking around here for a while but if my posts drop off understand it will be because of health issues and not because of any animosity. In the meantime I intend to enjoy life to its fullest extent.

Dflip
My hopes and prayers are with you. Cancer is not a pleasant disease and when it gets in the organs it tends to be pretty pervasive. I hope you are one of the lucky ones and will beat this. You have always been a class act and have helped so many here with your advice. LarryC
Lynn, I'm so sorry, my best wishes. You are a very fine, classy person, as the others have said, and we look forward to your continuing on with us. Larry
SCOOTERDOG
Sometimes it's hard to come up with words to describe how one feels. It seems sorry to hear about this is not what the heart really wants to say. Instead of saying I'm sorry I want you to know from my heart that you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Cancer is a terrible thing as I have seen it strike my family twice in the last 25 years. If I can shed some ray of sunshine it is the fact that almost 80% of all cancers these days can be treated with remarkable results. I think these are pretty good percentages compared to just a generation ago. Keep your chin high and your family close and have some fun. Don't be so worried about what tomorrow will bring. Instead enjoy the moment and relive the past... Hearts and prayers my friend scooter
Flason
Although I have a relatively low post count for the length of time I have been on the forum, I read the forum everyday. You have been a class act since day 1. My prayers are with you and the family tonight.

fini
Well, I wouldn't really call you "classy." ;^) Hell of a good guy, stunning sense of humor, among the most caring forum members. This is a shock, Lynn. Of course, prayers and positive energy are heading your way. Count among those who care about and love you, fini. If there is anything I can do for you, please ask.
